I read on Dianping that it has been popular in Huayin for the past four years. The city has always been ranked first. I didn’t eat at noon, so I went to the restaurant before five o’clock in the afternoon. There were already many people there, including locals and tourists coming to Huashan. The food in the restaurant was very expensive. It's cheap, the portions are big, and they're all Shaanxi specialties. I took a photo of the menu to see if it was expensive.
I ordered three dishes, stir-fried spicy noodles with soy sauce, happy event sliver pork, and braised eggplant. The large handmade steamed buns cost 58 yuan per person. The waiter also reminded me that I couldn’t finish it. It was for three to four people. I also knew that I couldn’t finish it. It had been a long time since I came here and I ordered so much!
The taste and portion of the food are still the same as three years ago, but the steamed buns have changed and they don’t feel like handmade. I ordered too many and ended up not finishing them, leaving a lot left. Special mention is made of the corn grits porridge here, which is free. Yes, it’s enough. It’s made from corn from Huayangchuan in Huayin City. Huayang is a valley located south of Huashan, so it’s named Huayang. It’s just opposite to Huayin, with one mountain to the north and one to the south, but Huayang is located in a ravine. Here, with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters and little land, we can only grow one crop a year, mainly corn and potatoes. The growth cycle is long, so the quality of the corn and potatoes produced is unmatched by other places. There are also walnuts, although they are smaller. , the skin is thicker and the walnut flavor is strong. Why I know this is because I stayed in Huayangchuan for more than a year, and some people in Huayang gave me "care" at work. Later I heard that during the warlord period , Huayang Sichuan is a bandit's nest. It is unknown whether it is true or not. Northerners have a special liking for porridge made from grains. If they like it, they can drink two bowls of it.
After dinner, go to Hua. We walked around Yuemiao Street and Xiyue Temple. Xiyue Temple is also a very important tourist attraction in Huayin. Yuemiao Street is the street you need to take to get to Xiyue Temple. There are antique buildings on both sides of the street, and the road is paved with stone. It has a sense of history. I asked an older aunt and she said it was only built fifteen years ago.
Because of the god-like existence of Mount Huashan, and historically, Chinese people had the habit of worshiping all the famous mountains and rivers, so it was natural to build a temple for Mount Huashan to worship and enshrine. Therefore, the Temple of Xiyue has a long history and high architectural standards. In history, emperors, generals and ministers came here to pray and pass through Mount Huashan. This temple is also a large temple.
A Shaanxi is not only responsible for half of China's history, but also one-third. From Emperor Qin and Han Wu to Emperor Zong of Tang and Song Dynasty, it was not in Shaanxi that he became the leader in the country. Every time I take the high-speed train and pass through the 800-mile Qinchuan River, I am shocked by the fertile land and scenery on both sides. Shaanxi has many geomantic treasures and small towns with many stories, and the same is true for Huayin.
