Regional division of Longchang town
As early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it was the territory of Yelang State, which was under the jurisdiction of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and under the jurisdiction of Tusi County in the Tang and Song Dynasties. In the 11th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 14 13), the central government of the Ming Dynasty officially set up a publicity and deployment department in Guizhou, namely, Guizhou Province, with 8 houses, 8 states, 24 hospitals and 8 hospitals, and Panjiang eight subordinate hospitals 1 hospital (Wei, now Qinglong), of which Longchang is one. In the fourth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1577), Yongning (now Yongning in Guanling) was moved to Annanwei. In the thirty years of Wanli, the new town office (impromptu benevolence) was placed under Anshun military and civilian government, and Longchang also belonged to Anshun. In the 18th year of Qing Shunzhi (A.D. 166 1), Pu 'an County was established in the new town, which belonged to Anshun Prefecture. In the fifth year of Yongzheng (AD 1727), Annan County was changed to Nanlongfu (now Anlong), and five villages, including Dong Jiaqi, which belonged to Huichangli (namely Longchang), newly established Yongfeng Prefecture (namely Longchang was under the jurisdiction of Annan County before the early years of the Republic of China, and its official title was Huichangli). 19 14, Longchang was placed under the jurisdiction of Zhenfeng County and called Huichang Town; 194 1 year, renamed as "Huan Wen Town" in the name of Han, a warlord of the Republic of China. After the founding of New China, 1950 established Longchang District, which governs Longchang, Tang Ding, Poliu, Sanhe, Xiaotun, Toumao and Sang Mu. 1959, Zhenfeng County was merged into Xingren County, which was subordinate to Xinger County. Zhenfeng County is still Zhenfeng County after it was restored on 1962, and it is called Longchang District. 199 1 year, the township was built from the district, Longchang District was abolished, Longchang Town was established, Longchang, Tang Ding, Poliu and Sanhe were under the jurisdiction of the district, small villages, toumao and mulberry were set aside, and Xiaotun Township was established.
The name Longchang has a long history. As the political, economic and cultural center of Fiona Fang for dozens of miles, Longchang has been endowed with a special mission by history. In ancient times, dozens of people in Fiona Fang gathered here for business exchanges and other activities, commonly known as "market fair", which means the dragon in time, so it was called the Dragon Field. Although the official name has been changed many times, the people are still used to calling it the Dragon Field.
