Is Feng Shui picturesque an idiom?
This word is not an idiom.
First of all, based on the above knowledge, an idiom is a conventional four-character phrase in a language, which usually has a fixed structure and meaning. However, "feng shui picturesque" is not widely accepted and recognized, nor does it have a fixed structure and meaning, so it cannot be regarded as an idiom.
Secondly, from a semantic point of view, "feng shui picturesque" does not have a clear meaning. In Chinese, "feng shui" usually refers to choosing the location of a building or cemetery based on factors such as terrain, water flow, climate, etc., in order to achieve the effect of seeking good luck and avoiding evil; while "picturesque" means that the scenery is as beautiful as a painting. Therefore, the word "feng shui picturesque" is semantically unreasonable and does not meet the requirements for the composition of an idiom.
