Introduction to Huang Qing’s character profile

Huang Qing (1904-1977) was a native of Nahe Village, Sanshi District, Donglan County, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. He joined the Seventh Red Army in 1929, participated in the 25,000-mile Long March in 1934, and then participated in the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation. He served successively as platoon leader, company commander, battalion commander, and regimental commander of the Red Army. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he successively served as the President of the Nanning Branch of the People's Bank of China and the Deputy Secretary of the Supervisory Committee of the Nanning Prefectural Committee.
