What weather forecast is suitable for geostationary meteorological satellites?

Meteorological satellites are divided into polar orbit meteorological satellites and geostationary orbit meteorological satellites. The former can patrol the global surface twice a day, so it can obtain global data and provide information needed for medium and long-term digital weather forecasting. However, because it can only observe the same area twice a day, it is impossible to observe harmful small-scale weather phenomena with fast change and short survival time.

Geostationary meteorological satellites are just the opposite. It is located over a certain area, so it can continuously observe the changes of the situation in this area and is suitable for regional short-term weather forecast, but its meteorological observation ability in high latitudes is poor. So these two kinds of meteorological satellites should learn from each other.
