There were also people selling medicine on the radio, saying that blessed water can cure diseases. How can you tell which ones are truth and which ones are lies? Paying attention to Feng Shui, channeling, omens, etc. have existed before human beings recorded history. In ancient times, there were prophets, priests, wizards, etc. who used spells, spells or divination to predict the future. There are also people who are born with "yin and yang eyes" and can see visions; or there are people who can use their bodies as psychic "tools" to convey messages from the spirit world. People with such functions already existed among primitive humans. Modern people's wisdom has been developed, but the "mystery" of the unknown world still remains unsolved. These mysteries include weather, health, disasters, interactions between people, and between people and nature, etc. For various disasters or situations, prophets or psychics may appear because humans cannot find the cause for a while. Although most of these prophecies or divination are incorrect, many people still believe them. There are also explanations after the fact. As long as they can be justified and justified, some people will believe them. For example, once a supermodel fell off a horse and was injured, it was deduced that her father bought too many wood carvings and had too much yin energy. If this reason is true, wouldn't it happen to so many people who collect wood carvings in the world? Some people are born with special talents and can see visions or receive messages from the spirit world. I believe that. I have an American disciple who is very good at meditation. He told me that "friends" from the spiritual world often hold parties in his backyard. I told him, "Even if you see it, don't tell anyone." Why? Because others cannot see it, they will only feel fear or suspect you of lying. Otherwise, they will treat you as a god. How troublesome! What's more, even if you have the ability to deal with the spirit world, most of the predictions are inaccurate, because the causes and conditions are unpredictable, and what the psychic sees is the scene at a certain moment. If the causes and conditions keep changing, as time develops, as mentioned before The prediction may be inaccurate. I also have an American disciple who originally made a living by prophesying and helping people see things. As soon as he saw me, he told me mysteriously: "Master, I saw you in the Song Dynasty." I asked, "Was I like what I am now?" He said, "Yes." But I didn't. Believe it, because "what I am now was born to me by my parents in this life." When Buddha Sakyamuni was sick, he also sought medical treatment; when modern people encounter problems, they seek guidance from masters. Dealing with ghosts and gods will also have sequelae. You will find one ghost to drive away another ghost. There will be no end to it, and you will always be controlled by ghosts. I know that many psychics need to see a doctor when they are sick, but some people seek help from masters through psychics. They are really desperate and seek medical treatment. Some people are fascinated by Dzi beads, saying they can deepen their spiritual practice. But my rosary beads are just ordinary wooden beads. Cultivation depends on oneself, not on beads. If you have money, it is better to give more and recite the Buddha's name more. You don't need to spend a lot of money to buy beads.
