What's the point of burying jade?

The ancients believed that jade could protect the body of the dead from decay. Therefore, jade articles and funerary objects of the past dynasties were basically worn by the deceased, including filling in nine tricks, covering the body, and even making jade clothes.

The following four jade articles can be used as funerary objects:

Emerald dolphin

jade toad—moon

Yusai

Yuyi

Put them in the corresponding positions respectively, and fill in the nine orifices to avoid the leakage of Yuanyang, which is believed by the ancients.
