Why do the leaves of the camphor tree fall in spring?
It is a characteristic of evergreen tree species.
The camphor tree is evergreen all year round, but that does not mean that it will not lose its leaves. The difference between it and deciduous trees is that deciduous trees will lose most or all of their leaves in autumn and winter, while evergreen trees will lose their leaves in all seasons. But at the same time, it is also growing new leaves. Some pine and cypress leaves will stay on the trunk and will not fall when they become old and yellow. Evergreen trees grow new leaves every spring, and some old leaves fall off at the same time, but the stems maintain green leaves all year round, so they are called evergreen trees.
