Luming Mountain in ancient times is naturally not what it is now. At that time, there was a temple called Dongyue Temple to the west of the county government in Fushan, which collapsed due to disrepair. In the 18th year of Jiajing (1539), Liu Chuquan, the governor of Quzhou Prefecture, built the Confucius Family School on the abandoned site of this temple to teach the descendants of Confucius. In the forty-fourth year of Jiajing (1565), an official in the government office dreamed of Dongyue God and said to him, "It's great to climb the ridge and look at the air, and it should be west of Feishui." At that time, the magistrate of Quzhou was Zheng Boxing, a native of Wuxi. He thought that Dongyue God clearly stated that he should build a temple for it in Hexi, so he took people to explore. It is found that the mountains are surrounded by beautiful castles, and there are several houses on the flat land of about two acres in the middle. In the days when the temple was built, craftsmen often heard the double deer singing on the hill, so they called this mountain "Luming Mountain". The hills in Luming Literature are beautiful and clean, and the Dongyue Temple is surrounded by bamboo pines. Here, there are several cases of fireworks in the city. There is a clear spring, and people strive to learn from it "(Zheng Yongxi). Springs flow out of the stone crib, and the words "heaven opens and water flows" are engraved on the top of the stone crib. As a result, it has become a place for city people to visit and feast.

Scholars have visited Lumingshan more often, and the name Lumingshan naturally appears in poems and songs. Xu Yingqiu in the Ming Dynasty wrote: "The west wind stirs up a city in autumn and goes up to this building with the guests;" The leaves are far upside down and dancing butterflies, and the sails are slanting and the gulls are light; Swing a cup and sit around Xiasheng cheek, falling off your hat and singing with snow; Live up to the true generation of Qingshan, and eat deer. " Zheng Guidong, a native of the Qing Dynasty, wrote: "When you laugh, you forget the city, and Guo Xing comes out;" The floor is cold and green, and the yard is clear in the afternoon; Leaves fall without a monk sweeping, and poetry becomes a Buddha; Come back to the same place, and return to the sunset. " However, what really makes Lumingshan famous is due to another thing.

in the 45th year of Wanli in Ming dynasty (1617), Qu Pu, a scholar from Dazhou, was appointed as the magistrate in Quzhou by the emperor. Qu Pu rented a boat to sail south, crossed Guangling (now Yangzhou), met a Zhao woman, two of a kind, and took her to Quzhou as her appointment. According to Qu Pu's "Ji Guangling Zhao's Tombstone", Zhao's "line is four, elegant and polite, intelligent, good at drumming, knowing the rhythm and playing chess, and playing the lute for eighteen beats is excellent for a while, and her needlework is skillful. Guangling has many beautiful women, and this one is outstanding. " However, the beautiful woman is unlucky. "It's strange to serve for two years, and the birth date is under eighteen, but unfortunately she died early." Zhao's early death made Qu Pu feel miserable. Ben "wanted to go back to the funeral, but it was suitable for the cold, and the ice was strong and the river gate was the stalk, because Bu was buried in the foothills of Luming Literature." The reason why Zhao was buried in Luming Mountain was because "the family of Zhao was invited to the Quyu, and when the Quyu water was clarified, he was happy to say,' Clear water is like a state water'". They often go to Luming Mountain together to shoot poems and express their admiration for Zhao, a beautiful woman in Guangling. For example, Wang Zhigao wrote: "Huan Pei is difficult to recruit the soul of a beautiful woman, and there is no trace of wanting to find incense; Poor remnant remains, after reading the autumn wind, the temple gate is cold. " Zhu Yuan wrote: "The beauty loess is always boring, and idle people are not allowed to pick up the jade; Outside the door, the castle peak is empty, and the grass on the shore is still skirt waist; Butterfly flowers take all the songs and rest, and cuckoo blood cries and hates; It's nothing like the pine and cypress road in Xiling, which mistakenly turned Su Xiao to the south. " Now there is neither Dongyue Temple nor Plum Blossom Tomb in Luming Mountain. Of course, it is completely different from previous years.
