The reason why cars blow cold air instead of warm air may be that the water temperature is abnormal, the coolant is insufficient or the air conditioning filter element is too dirty.

1, abnormal water temperature

Normal water temperature is the premise of warm air, because the heat of warm air comes from coolant, which circulates in the warm air tank to heat the warm air tank. The wind from the blower can pass through the warm air tank, so that the air is heated and hot air is blown out.

If the water temperature is always very low, then the temperature of the warm air tank must be very low, and the wind blown out by the warm air tank will definitely not be hot, so the water temperature is the key.

Look at the thermometer to know whether the water temperature is normal, about 90 degrees. If it's only 60 degrees, or the water thermometer has been at the lowest point, it's a fault. At this time, find the reason for the low water temperature. When the water temperature is normal, there will be warm air

2. Insufficient coolant

Because of the lack of coolant, the coolant entering the heating box will be reduced or even circulated through the heating box. So the warm air cylinder is cold, and the wind blown out is also cold.

As long as the coolant is added to the normal level, the warm air will be restored soon. If the coolant level is normal, the heating box may be blocked. The simple method is to check the temperature of the inlet and outlet pipes of the heating box.

If the inlet pipe temperature is high and the outlet pipe temperature is low, it means that the warm air tank is blocked and the coolant cannot enter the tank. The heater tank needs to be dredged. If it can't be dredged, it should be replaced.

3. The air conditioner filter is too dirty

Dirty air conditioning filter will affect the air volume. Only the blower is whistling, and the air actually blown out is not much, and it is blocked by the dirty air conditioning core. In this way, although the air outlet is hot and windy, the car is not warm because the wind is small and the heat blown out is small.

The correct time to turn on the heating:

Turn on the warm air until the water temperature comes up. There is no warm air after the vehicle has just started, and it is also cold air when the warm air is turned on. Don't think it's a fault at this time. There is another disadvantage of turning on the warm air when the car is cold, which will prolong the warm-up time.

Originally, the engine wanted to warm up the car after starting. At this time, you turn on the blower to blow, wasting its heat, and it will take longer for the water temperature to rise to normal, which will also increase fuel consumption. When the water temperature rises, we turn on the heating. We use its waste heat, but the waste heat can't be used. If we reuse the extra parts, there will be no effect.
