Shoushan Tianhuang and Changhua Tianhuang

Tianhuang is a variety of Shoushan stone in Fujian, also called Tianhuangshi or Huang Tianshi, which is produced in the field of Shoushan village in Beixiao, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, and is a unique Yin Shi in China. It has been exploited and utilized for more than 1000 years, and it was mainly used as Yin Zhangshi and carving materials for the royal family in Qing Dynasty. With the development of the times, the research on it has been deepened and many monographs have been published. According to the modern research results, Tianhuang can be defined as: Tianhuang is produced in Xitian, Shoushan, with six characteristics and other signs, and is mainly composed of dickite and pearl pottery stone. There are mainly Tianhuang, Baitian, Heitian, Hongtian, Lvtian and other varieties. According to the characteristics of stone skin, it can be divided into Huangpi Tianhuang, Silver-wrapped Jintianhuang and Crow-skinned Tianhuang. According to the color depth, it can be divided into osmanthus yellow, chicken oil yellow, loquat yellow, golden yellow, orange peel yellow and so on.

Changhua Tianhuang is produced in the fields around Yuyan Mountain in the northwest of Changhua North District, Lin 'an City, Zhejiang Province. It comes down in one continuous line with the famous bloodstone in China. Although it has been recorded for more than 20 years since its excavation, it is also a precious Yin Shi.
