Cleaning steps of throttle valve

The throttle must be cleaned every 20-30 thousand kilometers. ① Find the throttle valve, which is behind the air inlet and connected with the air filter;

② Remove the plastic hose connecting the throttle valve and the air cleaner first, and then remove the air cleaner assembly;

③ Then remove the throttle cable, unscrew the fixed anchor bolt, and then remove the throttle;

(4) Apply special cleaning agent or carburetor cleaning agent, spray it on the throttle, wait for the organic solvent to dissolve the carbon deposit, and wipe it clean after 1-2 minutes.

The whole cleaning process must be disassembly-painting-cleaning-installation. The actual operation is inconvenient, but the cleaning effect is very good. However, we should pay special attention to the fact that the surface of the throttle valve has a layer of anti-fouling and anti-static architectural coating. If you wash it too often or the cleaning solution is unreasonable, it will lead to the loss of the coating, and the throttle valve will be dirty in the future.

In addition, there is a disassembly-free cleaning method, which does not need to disassemble the throttle valve, but only needs to spray cleaning agent into the throttle valve when the automobile engine is running. The practice of many automobile 4S shops and after-sales service centers is to blow the throttle while spraying cleaning agent into the throttle. At this time, the vehicle may smoke, because the cleaned stains are strongly ignited by the suction cylinder and then discharged. This cleaning method is harmful to the car, and disassembly is healthier for the car. It is recommended to do so.
