What season is banana?
Ordinary bananas are planted in summer and autumn, and harvested in July 7- 10/October of the following year. Bananas in autumn and winter are harvested in the second year 1 month. Off-season bananas are generally planted in March and May and harvested in March and June of the following year.
Bananas are grown in 130 countries in the world, among which Central America has the highest yield, followed by Asia. Bananas in China are mainly distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan Province, Yunnan and Hainan, with a small amount planted in Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing.
The growing environment of bananas
