What season is banana?

Bananas are fruits that can be bought all year round.

Ordinary bananas are planted in summer and autumn, and harvested in July 7- 10/October of the following year. Bananas in autumn and winter are harvested in the second year 1 month. Off-season bananas are generally planted in March and May and harvested in March and June of the following year.

Bananas are grown in 130 countries in the world, among which Central America has the highest yield, followed by Asia. Bananas in China are mainly distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan Province, Yunnan and Hainan, with a small amount planted in Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing.

The growing environment of bananas

Banana requires high temperature and high humidity, and the growth temperature is 20-35℃, the most suitable is 24-32℃, and the lowest can not be lower than 15.5℃.

Bananas are afraid of low temperature, frost and snow, and their cold tolerance is weaker than banana and banana. Due to the lack of water, the banana pumping period is prolonged, the fruit index is short and the yield is low.
