In Guangdong, there are four famous mountains, Danxia Mountain, Dinghu Mountain and Xiqiao Mountain. But speaking of them individually, how many do you know? Probably only one of them, Danxia Mountain, is on the World Heritage List. What I want to introduce to you today is Luofu Mountain, which has been somewhat forgotten and unknown to everyone. Come and see what fun things there are here.

Its main attractions are Zhuming Cave, Chongxu Ancient Temple, Huanglong Cave Huanglong Temple, Sumo Cave and Ming Dynasty Temple. Attractions such as Fudong Jiutian Temple are diverse on this mountain. There are many Taoist temples, temples and mountain peaks. It is also one of the more famous mountains in the local area. But outsiders know very little about it. Self-driving routes

There are many inns and hotels in Zhumingdong Scenic Area. Compared with some other tourist attractions, the prices are not very expensive. They are mainly concentrated in the Dongpo Pavilion area. If there are few people, you can stay in the old General Building. Although it is old, the environment is acceptable, there are not many people living there, and the price is cheap. If there are many people, you can stay in hotels such as Yangming Station and Shifeng Hotel. There are also Luofu Mountain There are 18 large caves, including Zhuming, Penglai, Taoyuan, Butterfly, and Yele, and 72 small caves, including Tongtian, Luohan, Fuhu, and Dishui. Among them, Zhuming Cave is the largest cave on the mountain.
Luofu. There are more than 980 waterfalls and famous springs in the mountain. The famous ones include Baili Waterfall, Baishuimen Waterfall, Huanglongdong Waterfall, Bailian Lake, Furong Pond, Changsheng Well, and Zhuming Cave such as Zhuoxi Spring, which was praised by Su Dongpo, a scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty. The scenic spot is the most well-constructed. Most of the entire scenic spot has very flat roads and is very comfortable to walk. It is suitable for the elderly and children to play here. However, there are many mosquitoes in the mountains, so be sure to bring mosquito repellent water. The temperature here is relatively low. Luofu Mountain is a good place to escape the summer heat, but except for midsummer, it is best to bring more clothes in other seasons.
It is a good choice to live on the mountain in Zhumingdong Scenic Area. In the Jiangjun Building where we live, parking is available downstairs, but the parking space is limited, for about three or four cars. It is best to contact the store in advance Make a reservation. Most of the general buildings are located halfway up the mountain, and there are steps and paths connecting them to the bottom of the mountain, making it very convenient to visit. The biggest attraction in the scenic area is Chongxu Temple and the Bailian Lake opposite it.
There is a square in front of Chongxu Temple. There is a pool in the square. The sculptures inside are two carps and a dragon. The dragon's head looks towards Chongxu Temple. It may be an allusion to the carp jumping over the dragon gate. I guess It probably means practicing to become an immortal.
Go forward from this pool and take another step, which is the beautiful Bailian Lake.
The Huxin Bridge and Huxin Pavilion in the lake were built in 1959. They lead to the middle of the lake and can be viewed from each other. The most interesting thing is that as long as pedestrians come over, the carps will swarm in and gather there, seemingly waiting for people to feed them.
There is still some distance from the square to the cable car station. It is not very far, but it has to climb a hill, so if you are bringing the elderly or children, it is best to take the environmentally friendly car in the scenic area, which is sent up for free. It is the starting point of the sightseeing car. It's under the big tree on the right side in front of the Chongxu Temple Gate, which is opposite the Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall. There are many souvenir shops at the cable car station, including local snacks, drinks, food, etc. I thought I might as well try the local salt and big goose eggs.
If you are short on time or have limited physical strength, when climbing to the top, it is best to take the cable car to the cable car station halfway up the mountain, and then fly to Yunding on the hiking trail. Luofu Mountain Cableway: Round trip is 70 yuan, one way is 40 yuan.
When the cable car reaches the middle of Luofu Mountain, there is a platform with many reeds, which is the best place for beauties to take pictures. Climbing up the steps from here, there are many small restaurants and small stalls for buying drinks and snacks, which are the last supplementary points for hiking.
From the cable car station to Yingzui Rock, after going up the stairs, there is an iron ladder to Yingzui Rock. There are 40 iron ladders under Yingzui Rock to reach the top. This section It is not dangerous, but it is an obstacle for many people who are afraid of heights. I have personally seen people wet their pants in fear here, so the elderly and children need to consider going up here.
When we were about to reach the top, there was a very gentle place. I don’t know if it was the upper boundary peak area. The scenery was more open. There was only a dirt road passing through bushes and weeds. Because I I was wearing short sleeves and shorts. There were many scratches on my body from weeds. It is recommended to wear long sleeves and long pants.
I saw a lone traveler in the distance. I felt at ease in a place that originally felt very deserted. Many people have not gone up to Luofu Mountain, so it is common for people to say that Luofu Mountain is not interesting, but only those who go hiking here can experience the realm of "infinite scenery on dangerous peaks".
If the weather is fine, you can see Dongguan, Huizhou, Boluo and Guangzhou from a distance. The originally wild place seemed like the city was right in front of us. Near Feiyunding, there is a very flat place that is far away. It is said that if you go to the right, you can reach a very simple temple - Puyun Temple.
The Huanglong Scenic Area seems to cost 15 yuan per person. If you drive in, you will find a very large parking lot with many newly built pavilions and temples next to it.
This place was invested and built by Hong Kong businessmen. It is known as the largest Taoist temple in South China - Luofu Mountain Huanglong Temple is known as the largest temple in Guangdong. It is located in the northwest of Luofu Mountain in the northwest of Boluo County. Although it has not been opened for a long time , but the historical legends about Huanglong Cave can be traced back to the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Some people think that this place is just a man-made landscape. Of course, benevolent people have different opinions.
At present, Huanglong Temple has two main halls, Taoist Academy, Ancestral Hall, Immortal Garden and other places, pavilions, ponds and waterfalls, located on the mountainside of Luofu Mountain.
Sanqing Hall, Sanshi Hall and Guanmen are connected in a line; Miaoguan Pavilion and Yuanguan Pavilion face each other on the left and right; behind the view, Solitary Green Peak and green trees form a screen; to the east of the view, large stone tower peaks stand tall Nantian. Looking from south to north, it looks like an old man with his arms straight and bowing; looking from north to south, it looks like a camel holding its head high and neighing. Looking down, the twin yellow dragon waterfalls sometimes fly like silver dragons, and the thunder is deafening. Around Huanglong Temple, ten pavilions of different shapes have been built, like stars over the moon, dotted with Huanglong Ancient Temple and Huanglong Cave Sky, which are a major feature of the Huanglong Temple landscape.
Although this is a newly built and rebuilt Taoist temple, the scenery here is beautiful and there are almost no tourists. It is very clean and I like it very much. There are many older people burning incense and worshiping Buddha here.
Although the weather is very hot, walking in these newly built corridors, with the breeze blowing over the Buddha's face, is very comfortable. It is a different feeling compared to the Zhuming Cave Scenic Area.
However, after visiting, I often feel that there are heavy traces of artificiality. When I am intoxicated by the quiet environment, I have to return to reality. I bought local Shanshui tofu pudding in a row of stalls in the parking lot and ate it. It tasted pretty good. There was no place to eat here. Although there was a restaurant, there were not many tourists and there was no food. So I had to eat some fast food at the stall. Noodles to satisfy hunger.
Huashou Temple is also called Huashoutai. It is located in the southwest of Luofu Mountain. The most iconic building is this pagoda that can be seen far away - the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda. Although I was very tired from climbing Feiyunding the day before, I still couldn’t help but want to go up to the pagoda. The Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda in Huashou Temple is very small. It is quite tiring to walk all the way to the top. There is no door or platform to see the outside. You can only see a little scenery outside from the window. It is recommended that people with weak physical strength do not go up. building.
Due to limited time and other reasons, I went to Luofu Mountain several times but never visited the Suhudong Scenic Area in the north of Luofu Mountain. It is indeed a blessed place to meditate in this Taoist holy land for a few days.
