Carton purpose and carton type:
1, what is paper? Paper is the material, thickness, old and new, grams and so on.
A. According to materials, the three most common kinds of paper are: kraft paper (also called kraft paper card), boxboard paper and tea board paper.
Difference:
① Color: Kraft paper is the most natural color, with yellow cardboard, gray cardboard and rough cardboard.
② Soft and hard: Kraft paper is rich in fiber and has the best toughness, hardness and stiffness. Paperboard is actually kraft paper mixed with old materials, with few fiber components and average quality. Cardboard is the paper in the middle of corrugated box, which is very soft. The easiest way to identify hardness is to pinch paper with your nails. The easier it is to pinch, the worse the paper quality.
③ Weight: Due to the sufficiency of materials, kraft paper is much heavier than paperboard per square meter. According to the comparison, a carton with the postal code of 12 has a kraft paper of more than 45g and a tea board of not more than 35g.
④ Price: Due to the selection of materials and materials, the price of tea paperboard is the most advantageous.
B, according to the paper classification (mainly the eastern city classification method), K paper, quantitative 200 g; A piece of paper, basis weight160g; B paper, basis weight120g; ; W paper with a basis weight of125g (white).
Myth 1: A large number of carton sellers use the terms A3B, B3C, B5B, B=C, etc. Many buyers think that A3B has the best quality and B3B is weak. In fact, the letters marked here, such as a, only indicate that the weight of a piece of paper per square meter is 160 grams, and after a piece of paper is made into a carton with a specific specification, the buyer simply can't see how heavy the carton is. It is not excluded that A3B is a unique professional expression. But now many carton sellers use the blind spot of buyers' knowledge, or the blind trust that has been formed in A3B, to raise the quality of their cartons at will and confuse buyers.
2, the classification of corrugated paper:
Even if the same quality of face paper and inner paper are used, the performance of corrugated board is different because of the different shapes. There are four kinds of corrugated grooves commonly used in the world, namely, A-shaped groove, C-shaped groove, B-shaped groove and E-shaped groove. Their indexing requirements are shown in the following table:
Difference:
Corrugated board made of type A corrugated board has good cushioning and certain elasticity.
Type c is better than type a cold porcelain, but its rigidity and impact resistance are better than type a.
B-shaped ribs have high density, and corrugated board made of B-shaped ribs has flat surface and high bearing capacity, which is suitable for printing.
E-beam is thin and dense, which shows its rigidity and strength.
Myth 2: Many sellers say that their cartons are A tiles. According to everyone's thinking habits, we will intuitively think that A tile is definitely better than B, C and E. In fact, each corrugated box is not comparable in quality before, and each corrugated box has its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, for postal cartons with small specifications and limited space, the use of A tile undoubtedly strengthens the cushioning of cartons too much, but at the cost of further reducing their limited volume, and B and C corrugated boxes are more suitable for the attributes of postal cartons.
3, the number of layers, covering, nail method
Layers: Commonly used cartons are divided into three layers and five layers. Generally, goods that are not afraid of pressure choose three-layer cartons (but the quality of three-layer cartons must be guaranteed, sealed and waterproof), and electronic products that are afraid of pressure and shock generally use five-layer cartons.
Cover type: generally divided into full cover type, half cover type and heaven and earth cover type. The post office cartons 1- 10 are all full-cover, and almost all of them are half-cover, and most of them are gift boxes and jewelry boxes.
Nail method: the most common method is adhesive nail method, and the number of nails is generally three. Nailing is a very reliable bonding method when the paper is not easy to be damaged. With the attention of aesthetic concept, gluing is the most popular at present. The glued appearance looks smooth and beautiful, but the glue must be sealed, otherwise the box will crack when stored for a period of time.
