Why did Han Xin bury his mother alive?
Legend has it that when Han Xin was a child, her family was poor, her mother was blind and she was often humiliated. He also works in a landlord's house to make a living.
One day, the landlord hired a Mr. Feng Shui to find a place to bury himself after his death.
A few days later, Mr. Feng Shui visited all the hills nearby. When he came back, he said to the landlord: there is a mountain in the north, and there is a hole in it. This is a paradise that is hard to find, especially the people buried here on a certain day this month. Their descendants will be rich or expensive and will be honored as princes.
Just then, Han Xin was nearby, listening. He counted the time, and it was three days later.
So Han Xin told the landlord that he was in a hurry and wanted to go home for a few days.
On the way, Han Xin bought delicious food with all his money. When he got home, his mother asked him why he suddenly bought so many delicious foods. He told his mother that he had found a blessed land where people didn't worry about eating and drinking, and everyone was free. He is going to move there with his mother, so he bought something to celebrate.
His mother smiled: son, as long as you have a good life, you can go wherever you say.
After dinner, Han Xin continued on the road with his mother on his back, stopping all the way, and finally arrived at the cave mentioned by Mr. Feng Shui in the evening of the third day. Han Xin put down her mother and said she would go out to get some water. His mother stopped him: son, in the future, you are alone, I don't trust you. No matter where you are, don't forget to visit me once a year. Really inseparable. You can send someone to tell me. Let me do it.
Han Xin replied, Mom, we haven't arrived yet. Why do you say that?
When Han Xin came back to fetch water, his mother was already asleep. He put all the dry food and water beside his mother, quietly walked out of the cave, hesitated for a while, and finally found a stone to block the hole.
When he blocked the last stone, he heard his mother calling him inside: Don't forget to come to see me once a year.
Han Xin cried and bowed down and said, If my son succeeds in fame in the future, he will definitely come back to rebuild his mother's grave.
And die.
Later, the North Korean envelope king paid homage to the general, which made him famous for a while, but in the end, he lost his country and endangered his family. It is said that it is because of God's retribution for burying his mother alive.
These are the legends I heard when I was a child. It may not be exactly the same as the original, but it is roughly the same.
