Dongqiao Town is located in the northern part of Minqing County. The town covers an area of ​​187 square kilometers and has a population of 22,000. It is the Jiangbei center of Minqing County The town is a prosperous business town, with a forest area of ​​240,000 acres and a forest coverage rate of 72.4. According to town government staff, the master plan of Dongqiao Town is currently being revised and is expected to be completed before the end of October.

Chi Jiankai, director of the Minqing County Transportation Bureau, said that the Beijing-Fuzhou high-speed railway has started construction and has set up a stop in Daruo Village; the Beijing-Taiwan Expressway is preparing to open an interchange at Dongqiao, and the preliminary stage has been completed. Dongqiao Town integrates many transportation advantages such as Minjiang River Shipping, 316 National Highway, Waifu Railway, Beijing-Fuzhou High-speed Railway, Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, etc., forming an all-round and three-dimensional transportation pattern. At present, Dongqiao Town has adjusted its planning scope: to Nankeng in the northeast, Guanzhen and Huangping in the southeast, Zhushan in the southwest, and Beiyang in the northwest, with a total land area of ​​4.1 square kilometers.

Dongqiao Town is a traditional agricultural town. It has basically formed four pillar agricultural industries: edible fungi, fruits, breeding, and bamboo processing. It is the largest edible fungus production area in Minqing County. In recent years, Dongqiao Town has implemented the strategy of "strengthening the town through industry" and introduced enterprises such as Xiaoshenlong Watch Industry. Currently, there are 6 enterprises above designated size in the town. In 2009, the town was listed by the Provincial Department of Construction as one of 80 central towns in the "Six Rivers and Two Streams" basin and "140 central towns in the Provincial Urban System Construction Special Plan".

Among the three small town reform projects implemented by the Minqing County Government in the second half of the year, Dongqiao Town and Baizhong Town will be completed by the end of the year. A master plan was prepared and the construction of six "green towns" including Meixi, Baizhong, Chiyuan, Shanglian, Xiongjiang and Dongqiao was launched.

Baizhong Town currently has 163 enterprises of various types, including 23 enterprises above designated size. It is an important ceramic industry town in Minqing County. According to town government staff, the township general plan and regulatory detailed plan have currently completed surveying, mapping and demonstration and other related work. They will be submitted to the county government for approval in late September and can be completed before the end of October.

Currently, the entire county of Minqing is implementing the "Four Greens" project integrating urban and rural greening. This year, the county has added 54 hectares of green coverage in built-up areas, 49 hectares of new green space in built-up areas, and new park green spaces. Area 12 hectares. The green space rate of the county's planned built-up area has increased from the current 30.63 to more than 33.3, the green coverage has increased from 32.3 to more than 35.5, and the per capita park green space has increased from 8.1 square meters to more than 10 square meters.
