Ginkgo, the most beautiful poetry in autumn in Wuxi Huishan Ancient Town, thank you Tuyue for your company
Every time Jiangnan classical gardens are mentioned, there always seems to be endless topics to talk about. The mountains and waters, pavilions and pavilions, calligraphy and paintings in the gardens all embody the diligence of ancient craftsmen and literati. and wisdom.
There are four most famous gardens in the Jiangnan area, of which Wuxi has one, namely Jichang Garden. Among the four major gardens in Jiangnan, only Wuxi’s Jichang Garden has not been appreciated, and this time it can be regarded as filling one of them. Jichang Garden is located in Xihui Park in the western suburbs of Wuxi City. Compared with the other three Jiangnan gardens, Jichang Garden may not be the most famous, but it is definitely the Jiangnan garden with the most stories.
After the death of Qin Liang, the garden came into the hands of Qin Liang's nephew Qin Yao. Qin Yao was demoted during his official period, so he returned to the manor in Wuxi and made some improvements to the garden. Since then, he has placed his affection among the gardens and mountains and rivers, reciting poems and composing poems, which has also given this private garden a poetic and picturesque charm.
Emperor Qianlong not only lingered on the beautiful scenery of Jichang Garden, but also made drawings of them and brought them back to Beijing. According to the layout of Jichang Garden, he imitated five Jiangnan gardens that he considered to be the most beautiful. One place was named "Huishan Garden", which is now the "Xiequ Garden", and is located in the Summer Palace.
The road to the back garden is particularly unique. In addition to a short section of dense woods, there is also a short section of "mountain trail" called Bayinjian, also known as Sandie Spring. A large rockery made of yellow stones, with a total length of 36 meters. There are rugged rocks and winding stone roads in the gorge. Walking in it feels like you are in the mountains. The stream is gurgling at your feet and you can see the dense woods above. Such a quiet scene is really hard to find. forget.
After walking through the Qixing Bridge, you can see a round moon cave door with the word "Qingxiang" inscribed on the forehead and the three words "Ji Changyuan" inscribed on the other side. This moon cave door was built by Emperor Qianlong at that time. There is a rockery as a screen through the door you pass through while playing. You can see Huishan through the rockery. The combination of the two mountains, one real and one false, happens to be the word "chu", which means "getting ahead".
There is a pavilion in the southeast corner of Jichang Garden, named Lingxu Pavilion. There is a rectangular pool in front of the pavilion. The pool is not big, but it has a story related to the emperor. This story is related to the pond beside the pool. A standing stone has something to do with it.
When visiting Huishan, "The Second Spring in the World" is a must-see attraction. Huishan is famous for its famous springs. The most famous one is the "Second Spring in the World", which is Huishan Spring. Huishan Spring is the same as Huishan Spring. Jichang Garden also has a certain connection. The garden landscape of Jichang Garden is centered on the mountain and pond, and "two springs" are introduced into it, forming a unique landscape of "two springs reflecting the moon", which is unique among many Jiangnan gardens.
When it comes to springs, we have to mention tea. There is a good place for tea tasting across the wall from the "Second Spring in the World". There is a moon hole door in the middle of the white wall covered with ivy and gray tiles, through which Passing through the Moon Cave Gate, you can see the fiery red maple leaves in the opposite courtyard, and the entire landscape looks very classical.
Sit down at a free seat and order a cup of good Biluochun. Not long after, the waiter brought the tea and carried a thermos. To be honest, I haven’t been so leisurely in a long time. A gust of wind blew, and the withered maple leaves slowly fell down next to the cup. The fiery red maple leaves and the tea were completely different tones, but they were so harmonious.
In addition to Huishan Spring, the surrounding scenery is also worth taking in, especially the stone steps leading to the back mountain. The white wall and gray tiles next to the stone steps are particularly eye-catching. Generally speaking, the walls are flat, but this place is different. It meanders and extends deep into the wall, like a giant dragon, so it is also called the "Dragon Wall".
I turned around and came to another courtyard. The centuries-old ginkgo tree in the courtyard was now full of golden color, attracting many tourists to take pictures. Generally speaking, ginkgo trees can be found in good Feng Shui places.
There is a pavilion next to the ginkgo tree. Standing on it, you can take in the scenery of the entire courtyard. This is my first serious visit to Xihui Park. It is much more beautiful, simple and elegant than I imagined. Pavilions, corridors, inscriptions and other landscapes can be seen everywhere. It is very appropriate to describe it as one scene at a time and one scene at a time.
