Bitter gourd chrysanthemum porridge (summer, clearing away heat and toxic materials)

Summer is also a high incidence period of digestive system diseases, but it is different from spring. In spring, because the weather is warm and cold, the climate is changeable, and there are more patients with stomach diseases, but in summer, most of them come to the hospital for treatment with intestinal diseases. Dysentery is a typical intestinal disease in summer. "Su Wen Taiyin Yangming Theory" has a cloud: "Diet is not suitable, daily life is from time to time ... diarrhea is the second, and long-term diarrhea is the intestine." The incidence of dysentery is mainly due to inattention to food hygiene or close contact with dysentery patients. The incidence of children is higher than that of adults, so parents are reminded to pay more attention to food hygiene in summer to ensure the freshness and cleanliness of food, and it is best not to eat food stored in the refrigerator for a long time.

Summer may wish to eat some bitter gourd chrysanthemum porridge, which has the effect of clearing away heat and relieving summer heat, stopping dysentery and detoxifying, especially suitable for patients with heatstroke and dysentery. The treatment of this kind of patients should be based on invigorating spleen, benefiting qi and promoting diuresis, and some kelp, wax gourd and watercress soup can also be eaten appropriately. The ingredients of this soup are very simple, just soak kelp, peeled wax gourd, peeled broad bean petals and seasoning. This soup is delicious and has a good effect of relieving summer heat and benefiting water. Besides hypometabolic syndrome caused by hypothyroidism, it is also suitable for patients with hypertension and dyslipidemia, as well as patients with heatstroke, polydipsia, edema, hyperhidrosis, headache and dizziness. Wax gourd and kelp have good diuretic effect, and broad bean has good spleen-strengthening effect, so you can obviously feel more urination and edema after drinking for a few days.

60 grams of kelp soaked in raw materials, 250 grams of wax gourd, 5 grams of peeled broad bean petals, and proper amount of seasoning.

The porridge has the effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials, clearing away throat and benefiting throat, and is suitable for treating common cold with wind-heat and summer-heat dampness. It is important to note that it should be eaten only in summer and should not be eaten in excess.

Folium Perillae has the effects of dispelling cold, regulating qi and nourishing, and can be used for treating common cold, aversion to cold, fever and cough and asthma. Mint is cool and pungent, and has the effects of dispelling wind and clearing heat, clearing the head and penetrating rash. The combination of the two drugs has obvious effect on the treatment of damp-heat cold. The reason why it is not appropriate to eat more is because both of them are cold, and eating too much is easy to hurt the spleen and stomach.

Raw materials: fresh perilla leaf 15g, fresh mint 15g (dried product 10g), 90g japonica rice, and appropriate amount of rock sugar.

Practice: First, wash the perilla leaves and mint, put them in a casserole, add water to decoct until the juice is thick, stop fire, and filter to get the juice. Then put the washed japonica rice into the pot to cook porridge. When it's cooked, add perilla leaves, mint juice and rock sugar, and then cook for 3 minutes.

Usage: Take it twice a day and cool it after lunch and dinner.
