Do you know anything about Mongolia?

There are twice as many Mongolians in China as in Mongolia.

Because of the existence of "Mongolia", it is easy to give people the illusion that there are definitely more Mongolians in Mongolia than in China. Surprisingly, however, this cognition is wrong. The fact is that there are twice as many Mongolians in China as in Mongolia! Yes, you read it right: twice. The Gobi Desert separates Inner Mongolia from Outer Mongolia. The former was called Monan Mongolia in ancient times, and the latter was called Mobei Mongolia in ancient times. There are 6 million Mongolians in China and 3 million Mongolians in Mongolia. We are twice as big as Mongolia.

Strangely, the main body of Mongols on this earth is not in Mongolia, but in China! This is really interesting. Then, why are there twice as many Mongolians in China as in Mongolia? Because the living resources in Chinese mainland are much richer than those in outer Mongolia (Mongolia), whether it is land fertility, sunshine level, rainfall, mineral resources, national economic development level, medical development level and so on. Much better than Mongolia. In fact, even from a historical point of view, Monan Mongolia (Inner Mongolia) has been rich in Mobei Mongolia (Outer Mongolia) since ancient times, so the population of Inner Mongolia is naturally more than that of Outer Mongolia.

Mongolians are different from Mongolian tribes in China.

Outer Mongolia and Inner Mongolia are both Mongolians, so will they have a strong sense of national identity with each other? The answer is: not as strong as others think. In fact, there is always a sense of identity, but it is not as strong as we once thought. Although the Mongolians in Inner Mongolia and outer Mongolia all say that they are Mongolians, the problem is that "Mongolians" are actually subdivided into many tribes. It turns out that from the point of view of Chinese people, "Mongolia" is a whole, but from the inner point of view of Mongols, in fact, "Mongolia" is not a pure whole, but a subdivision of tribes. Mongolia is a country with "Khalkha Mongolia" as the main body, and about 80% of the Mongolians in its territory belong to "Khalkha Mongolia". The Mongolians in Inner Mongolia of China are mainly composed of more than 20 tribes, including Horqin Mongolia, Chahar Mongolia, Hu Ba Mongolia, Buryat Mongolia, Ordos Mongolia, Turkut Mongolia, Alashan Mongolia and Wulate Mongolia.

In other words, although both Outer Mongolia and Inner Mongolia are Mongolians, their tribes are different, and their sense of national identity is not too strong. The costumes of "Zhalaite Mongolia" in China are similar to those of Manchu, but in fact, Manchu costumes were copied from Mongols. Moreover, the main ethnic group of Mongolia, the Kharka Mongols, and the Horqin Mongols and Chahar Mongols in Inner Mongolia of China still have some historical grievances, so the gap between them may be deeper than we thought. For example, Koreans don't think Koreans are "close" to Koreans in China. Although they are all Koreans, their sense of identity is not strong. Let's take another example: Although Chinese Singaporeans are descendants of China people, they do not have a strong sense of identity with China people, and even have prejudice against us China people.

These celebrities are all Mongolians:

Some celebrities we are familiar with are actually Mongolians. In other words, the Manchu royal family actually has Mongolian ancestry since ancient times. Xi Murong, a famous writer in Taiwan Province, is a Mongolian, whose name is Mulunxilianbo. Bai, a famous host, many people mistakenly think that he is a Han nationality, but in fact, he is a Mongolian. Fu Ying, a famous diplomat in China, was mistaken for Han by many people. Actually, she is Mongolian, too. Fu Ying is actually a Mongolian. There is also Phoenix Legend's female lead singer "Sene", who is also Mongolian, not Han. Phoenix Legend's Ling Hua is also a Mongolian, a famous singer, and Han Lei is a male singer who sings "Borrow from Heaven for another 500 years": "I really want to live for another 500 years". He is also a Mongolian, and his Mongolian name is Senbul. In fact, specifically, his mother is Mongolian and his father is Han. But he and his mother filled in "Mongolian" in the household registration book, so he is also a Mongolian. Han Lei is a mixed-race Mongolian and Chinese, and the household registration is Mongolian.

The Mongols established the largest country in human history:

Excuse me: which country has the largest territory in human history? It's not Russia, it's the former Mongolian empire. The country "Mongolian Empire" established by Mongols is the largest country in human history. In its heyday, the once Mongolian Empire covered most of Eurasia, reaching Sakhalin Island in the east, Hainan Island in the south, the Mediterranean Sea in the west and the Arctic Circle in the north. It was the largest empire in human history. To this day, there is no country established by other nationalities on the earth that can surpass the Mongolian empire of that year.

Mongolian horse is the best war horse;

So, why can Mongols build a country with such a large territory? The answer to this question is very complicated, involving many factors, and it is by no means a matter of one sentence. However, there is one reason that is indispensable, and that is: Mongolian horses were the best war horses on the earth in those days, and there was no one. Mongolian horse is the best war horse in nature. Although Mongolian horses are not tall, they have one advantage compared with other horses, that is, Mongolian horses have the strongest endurance. Yes, Mongolian horses have the best endurance. It is not only heat-resistant and cold-resistant, but also strong, which is not enough. The most important thing is that it is the most hardy. A Mongolian horse can pull 500 kilograms of things and walk continuously, and it can walk 50 to 100 kilometers a day. Mongolian horses can run for a long time without rest, so at that time, Mongolians rode Mongolian horses with a particularly large radius of activity. They fought with the enemies in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. The horses in Central Asia and Eastern Europe were exhausted, but the Mongolian horses were still fierce. You can't beat the Mongols at all.

Yes, the average Mongolian has only a first name and no last name. Well, the habit of Mongols is similar to that of Uighurs. For example 1: "Qin Si Ge Rile" is not called "Qin Si" or "Ge Rile". In fact, "Qin Si Gerile" is her full name, which means "Light of Wisdom". No last name. Example 2: Gaowa Siqin is not named as Qin Si or Gao Wa.
