Introduction

The rock in Jingbian valley is called red sandstone, which consists of huge sand dunes that began to deposit in Jurassic 15 million years ago. Dunes are constantly covered by red sand layers soaked in groundwater. With the passage of time, minerals in the water condensed sand into sandstone, forming the layered structure that people see today. This landform is distributed in Longzhou Township, Jingbian, not just in one place. After tourists and locals divide and summarize the places with relatively beautiful scenery and relatively concentrated landforms, there are three areas, A, B and C, which are also places worth visiting for foreign tourists.

A, B and C areas of Wave Valley

It is an effective way to travel to a strange place and open the map for raiders. Take the commonly used Baidu map as an example. After opening, search the area near Longzhou Town, Jingbian County, and it shows that there are three scenic spots related to Langgu: Flame Danxia District of Langgu, No.5 Area of Danxia Langgu in Jingbian, and Danxia Landform Scenic Area of Longzhou. Don't think that the three areas on this map are usually called Area A, Area B and Area C, and only "Area 5 of Jingbian Danxia Valley" corresponds to Area B, and the other two areas are neither Area A nor Area C. Among them, "Longzhou Danxia Landform Scenic Area" is on the way to Area A, which is far from Area A, but it is worth stopping to have a look. Although the scale is not large, the landform is still very distinctive.

Is Area 5 worth going to

If you go to Langgu, the local villagers will recommend you to go to Area 5 (the location of Area 5 is marked in Figure 4 above). Area 5 is far from Area A, Area B and Area C, about 2 kilometers, and the road conditions are very poor. Most of them are narrow dirt roads with steep slopes, and self-driving is not recommended. You can pay local people to pick it up (if time permits, Area 5 is still worth going to. Its characteristics are different from those in areas A, B and C, and there are fewer tourists.

, it is best to arrange two days to have a good time in Longzhou town. Many local villagers have opened family hotels, and 1 yuan can stay for one night. It's convenient to eat and live (it's best to ask the price directly at the door of someone who can provide accommodation, and don't bargain at the intersection to avoid being increased by middlemen). After the first day in Longzhou, you can go to Zone 5, travel for 3-4 hours, then go to Zone B, and finally go to Zone C to see Danxia on the water before sunset. The next morning, I visited Area A and left Longzhou after the tour. If time is tight, only one day can be arranged. You can only visit Area A, Area B and Area C.

Precautions

At present, the local government is developing and constructing Area A and Area B, which will not be open to the public for the time being, so it is best to wait until the development and construction are completed and the scenic spots are open to tourists. During the closing period, some local villagers took tourists into the scenic spot after charging a certain fee privately. Although they can enter in this way, they should pay special attention to safety, especially the protection of scenic spots. Don't trample on the ground at will to destroy the scenic spots. Danxia landform in Bolang Valley is formed by the natural forces of geomantic omen and sandstorm after hundreds of millions of years of carving, so it is so fragile. Whoever destroys it is a sinner.
