Dai Temple

Formerly known as Dongyue Temple, because Mount Tai is also known as Dai, it is now called Dai Temple. It is a place where emperors of all dynasties stayed and worshiped the God of Mount Tai when they were enshrined in Zen. The temple was founded in the Han Dynasty and expanded in the Tang and Song Dynasties. It was rebuilt over the generations and became the largest and most complete ancient building complex in Mount Tai. It is 405.7 meters long from north to south and 236.7 meters wide from east to west. The total area is 96637.2 square meters. The entire building is magnificent in scale and structure. Rigorous, beautifully carved and magnificent, it is like an imperial palace. The main attractions include: Song Tiankuang Hall, murals, East Imperial Seat, Han cypresses, Bronze Pavilion, etc. Here there are lush ancient cypresses, towering ginkgo trees, numerous inscriptions and numerous cultural relics.

Puzhao Temple

Located at the foot of Han Peak at the southern foot of Mount Tai, it is named after the Sanskrit word "Buddha's light shines everywhere" and is said to be an ancient temple in the Six Dynasties. The temple faces a stream in front and a green mountain in the back, forming a four-entry courtyard based on the mountain. On the central axis are the mountain gate, the main hall, and the Mosong Tower; on the left and right sides of the axis are the Zen courtyard, the stone hall courtyard, the flower garden, and the chrysanthemum forest courtyard, which means "the winding path leads to a secluded place, and the Zen room is filled with deep flowers and trees." The "Six Dynasties Pine" in the courtyard has a history of more than 1,600 years and is one of the famous landscapes of Mount Tai. In 1932, the patriotic general Feng Yuxiang lived in seclusion here. Now the temple houses 48 steles of "Qiu Ba Shi" written by him and a stele of "Mr. Feng Huanzhang's 60th Birthday" written by Zhou Enlai in 1941.

Taohua Valley

Located about 15 kilometers northwest of the city, on Taishan West Road, it is the source of the Pan River. There is a "Peach Blossom Valley" in the upper section of the valley. It was named because of the peach trees that filled the valley in ancient times. . Going upstream from Taohuayu Pass, you will see towering peaks and numerous mountains on both sides of the river. The stream gurgled and sang happily all the way into the peach blossom valley. This place is inaccessible, with abundant water, beautiful grass, luxuriant trees and flowers, no extreme cold in winter, and no extreme heat in summer, forming a unique microclimate that is fascinating. It has now been opened as a new tourist attraction.

Houshiwu

Houshiwu is located in Daiyin, in the deep valley between Yuhuangding, Jiulonggang and Yaoguanding. The mountains here are steep, the temples are secluded, the caves are strange, the water is beautiful, and the pines are ancient. "Strange pines hang on the dangerous cliffs, and the mountains are verdant." Ancient pines of various shapes and forms grow everywhere in Houshiwu. Some are leaning against cliffs, some are squatting in deep ravines, some are piercing the sky, and some are flying across the sky. The mountain wind is blowing strong, the pine waves are bursting, and the mountains are echoing, making Daiyin more dangerous, mysterious, secluded and strange.

Lingyan Temple

Located 20 kilometers northwest of Taicheng, it is named after Lingyan Mountain. There is a stone square at the west entrance of Lingyan Mountain. The forehead is called "Lingyan Scenic Spot", which is the mountain gate of Lingyan Temple. From the mountain gate, go eastward along the valley and pass by the "Shili Pine" covered with greenery, which is Lingyan Temple. Its temple has a long history and is magnificent in scale. It was founded by the eminent monk Lang Gong in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and rebuilt by the authorized Zen masters in the Northern Wei Dynasty. This temple was built by the monk Hui Zhongzhong during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,600 years and enjoys a high reputation in the country. Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty Li Zhi and Wu Zetian once stayed in the north when they ascended Mount Tai. During Dezong's reign, Prime Minister and historian Li Jifu praised Lingyan Temple, Guoqing Temple in Tiantai, Zhejiang, Qixia Temple in Nanjing, Jiangsu, and Yuquan Temple in Jiangling, Hubei as "the four wonders in the region". , and Lingyan Temple happily enjoys the reputation of "the first among the four wonders" and is famous throughout the world.

Fanzi Cliff

Located on Taishan West Road, you can go up through Wushi Tianzun and arrive at Fanzi Cliff. It is named because it is tall and steep and shaped like a fan. To the west of Fanzi Cliff is Aolai Peak, also known as Furong Peak. It is famous because of its majestic protrusion, which has the potential to compete with Dai Peak. Although the peak is only half as high as the main peak of Mount Tai, it is sharp and towering and proudly does not bow to Mount Tai.

Mountain Cableway

The Zhongtianmen Cableway was completed and opened to traffic on August 5, 1983. It is China's first large-scale three-line reciprocating passenger cableway. It starts from Zhongtian Gate in the south and ends at Nantian in the north, with a total length of 2,078 meters and a relative height difference of 603 meters. It has a one-way passenger capacity of 240 people per hour and a running speed of 7 meters per second.

Taohuayuan Cableway was completed and opened to traffic on August 28, 1993. It is a single-line circulating gondola-type passenger cableway. It starts from the Taohuayuan Scenic Area and ends at the northern end of Nantianmen. It has a total length of 2,196 meters and a relative height difference of 671 meters. It has a passenger capacity of 1,000 people per hour and a running speed of 5 meters per second. The entire line has 49 cabins, each cabin Seats 6 people.

The Houshiwu Cableway was completed and opened to traffic on August 28, 1993. It is a single-line circulation double chairlift type tourist cableway. It starts from the entrance of Daiyin Houshiwu Scenic Area and ends at Daiding Beitianmen, with a total length of 518 meters and a relative height difference of 172 meters. The capacity is 500 people per hour, and the running speed is 3.5 meters per second. There are 24 chairlifts on the entire line, and each chair can seat two people.
