What's the difference between pastel, multicolored and bucket color? How to distinguish them?

1, difference:

(1) Multicolor, famille rose and famille rose have different names, different pigments and different literature records.

(2) Techniques: multicolored painting is a single-line flat painting, and pastel painting is a boneless painting;

(3) Usage of pigments: In addition to imitating ancient colors, famille rose also created several pigments, such as carmine, Qiang red, magenta green, magenta red and white.

2, explain:

(1) famille rose:

Pastel is an over-glaze color developed on the basis of multicolor. Because there is lead powder in the pigment, it is called pastel. Pastel can be divided into blue and white pastel, red glaze pastel, azure glaze pastel, bean green glaze pastel, Shanshan glaze pastel, red glaze pastel, green glaze pastel, kiln glaze pastel and so on.

(2) Doucai:

Doucai is to outline the outline of the project with underglaze blue and white, then fill the outline with underglaze red, yellow, green and purple, and fire it in the fire, so that underglaze blue and white and underglaze colors can combine and compete with each other.

(3) Colorful:

The so-called colorful, not five colors, but the meaning of many colors. Its painting method is roughly the same as fighting color. It is also made by coating various pigments on burnt porcelain and baking it in the fire. The difference is that the glaze color of Doucai is mostly underglaze blue and white, and then the outline of the pattern is filled with pigment. However, multicolored is not. Although there are underglaze blue-and-white colors, they are not only used to outline, but also mostly painted as complete or partial patterns. Brown black or brown red is often used to replace blue-and-white as line drawing of patterns. In addition, there is a kind of colored porcelain, which does not use blue and white for line drawing, but directly adds color to glazed white porcelain. Multicolor is composed of yellow, red, green, purple and blue.

3. Expand:

Doucai porcelain was first fired in Jingdezhen kiln during Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty, also known as blue-and-white coloring, blue-and-white stippling and blue-and-white coloring. When making, the outline of the watch case is first outlined with a blue-and-white hook. After preliminary high-temperature firing, the outline is colored and colored, and then baked with low-temperature fire. The underglaze blue and white compete with the bright colors on the glaze, so it is called "color competition". Franc enamel was founded at the end of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty. Enamel color absorbs the technique of painting enamel color on copper tire, and draws a new kind of glazed porcelain on porcelain tire with various enamel colors, which is also called "porcelain tire painting enamel color". Enamel colored porcelain is characterized by exquisite porcelain, dignified color materials, bright colors and exquisite painters. Making this kind of enamel porcelain for emperors and court nobles is extremely labor intensive, and it is impossible to make great progress. It dried up and disappeared.

Pastel pastel porcelain was created and fired in the late Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. It is an over-glaze color invented on the basis of Kangxi multicolored porcelain and influenced by the production process of enamel color. Because its tone is elegant and soft, it has the beauty of powder embellishment, so it is called "pastel". Multicolor is one of the methods of glaze color of porcelain. It is not necessarily all colors, but red, green and yellow are essential. Multicolor, which began in Xuande period of Ming Dynasty, was represented by products from Jiajing and Wanli years. Because there was no glaze blue at that time, when blue was needed, it was replaced by underglaze blue and white, so it was also called "blue and white multicolored".
