Where is Longxi?
Longxi County is located in the southeast of Gansu Province and the middle of Dingxi City. The county is about 52 kilometers wide from east to west and 60 kilometers long from north to south. The total area is 2408 square kilometers. Tongwei County in the east, Zhangxi 'an County and Wushan County in the south, Weiyuan County in the west and anding district in the north. County People's Government is stationed in Changgong Town.
Longxi county is located between the edge of the northwest loess plateau and the hilly area of Qinling branch, with loess ridges and valleys alternating. It constitutes three human settlements with obviously different conditions: Nanshan (Eryin area), Sichuan (Weihe Shuichuan area) and Beishan (arid area). The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast.
Longxi county is located in the middle latitude inland, which belongs to temperate monsoon climate. Four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine and mild climate. The annual average precipitation is 445.8 mm, evaporation 1440 mm, annual average sunshine hours are 2292 hours, and annual average frost-free period 146 days. Affected by the atmospheric circulation in East Asia and the special topography around the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Sichuan and Beishan are mild arid areas, while Nanshan is warm, cold and semi-humid areas.
Scenic spots in Longxi County:
1. Weiyuan Building: Weiyuan Building, also known as Xiongzhen Building and Bell and Drum Tower, is located 100 meters west of Zhendong Street, Changgong Town, Longxi County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, covering an area of 459 square meters. It was built in the 5th year of Northern Song Dynasty (1053). Weiyuan Building is a brick three-story wooden structure with a total height of 26 meters, a foundation height of 1 1 m, a building height of15m, a length of 27 meters and a width of17m. There are 24 colonnades on the first floor, cornices on the third floor, and 102 painted arches under the eaves. It is a sloping roof building with rigorous structure and magnificent shape.
2. Lijialong Palace: Lijialong Palace was built in the early Tang Dynasty. It is a palace-style ancient building complex in Tang Dynasty. It is the ancestral temple of the Li people in the world. It is famous at home and abroad for Li Shimin's imperial pen "Li Jialong Palace". It is one of the important carriers and landmark buildings to study the site of Wenhua Li in Longxi, an ancient architectural complex preserved in Longxi, and a key project to develop tourism in Longxi.
3. Wenfeng Pagoda: Wenfeng Pagoda is located in the center of the secondary platform about 30 meters south of Yingchunbao Village, Wenfeng Town, Longxi County, Gansu Province. Built in the 16th year of Qing Daoguang, it was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 198 1. There is a hexagonal pavilion in the north of Wenfeng Pagoda, and Taping Temple is not far from the pavilion. There are winding sidewalks on the east and west sides, a driveway leading to the ridge in the south, Wenfeng Yuanyang Highway under the platform in the north, and Taping Highway Management Office in the northwest corner.
