Forty miles northeast of Fangcheng is Huangshi Mountain, also known as Xiaoding Mountain. Huangshi Mountain is a steep mountain with towering peaks. Huangshi inkstone is one of the five most famous inkstones in China. It has been mined and carved since the Qin and Han Dynasties. In the slow years, a small inkstone accompanies the hardships of students "at midnight and chickens at dawn"; it accompanies the pride and freedom of literati and poets.

Another theory is that Huang Shigong lived in seclusion here at the end of the Qin Dynasty and the beginning of the Han Dynasty, and the mountain got its name from the people. Huangshi Gong's real name is Cui Guang. In order to avoid the tyranny of the Qin Dynasty, he lived in seclusion in Huangshi Mountain - then Huangshi Mountain was called Yanshan - and later became an immortal and was included in the divine genealogy of Taoism. He was one of the five great hermits at the end of the Qin Dynasty and the beginning of the Han Dynasty.

Zhang Liang, a Korean aristocrat, after his country was destroyed and his family was ruined, he bore the hatred of his family and country, determined to fight against Qin, and wandered around the world ever since. In 218 BC, when the First Emperor of Qin was touring the world, a hot-blooded young man named Zhang Liang and a strong man used a 120-pound hammer to attack the First Emperor in Bolangsha, Yangwu County. As a result, the second-in-command was killed, but the First Emperor survived. The guards then hunted and killed the strong man, and Zhang Liang fled from the reed swamp. The First Emperor wanted the assassin all over the world, so Zhang Liang had to flee his hometown.
Henan Province, Zhangliang Town in Lushan County is Zhang Liang’s hometown. After Zhang Liang fled back, he had no place to stay, so he went to Huangshi Mountain in Fangcheng County to seek advice from experts. Zhangliang Town is more than a hundred miles away from Huangshi Mountain. We can imagine the down-and-out Zhang Liangxing walking hurriedly at night, covered in dust, and throwing himself under the gate of Huangshi Gongmen.

Zhang Liang met an old man on the Immortal Bridge at the foot of Huangshi Mountain and asked, "Do you know where the Duke of Huangshi lives?" The old man didn't answer. He only said that I dropped my shoes under the bridge. Can you pick them up for me? Zhang Liang went off the bridge to pick up his shoes and handed them to the old man. The old man asked again, "Can you put some shoes on for me?" Zhang Liang gave the old man some shoes. Then the old man said, wait for me on the bridge tomorrow at five o'clock, and I will tell you the answer.
The next day Zhang Liang came at five o'clock. The old man was already on the bridge and said that you were late. Come back tomorrow at midnight, and I'll tell you the answer.
On the third day, Zhang Liang went to the bridge at midnight and saw the old man on the bridge from a distance. The old man said, you are late again. You can wait for me on the bridge at midnight tomorrow.
On the fourth day, before the sun set and the sky was not dark, Zhang Liang was already waiting on the bridge. When the moon rose from Dongshan, Huang Shigong arrived and gave Zhang Liang the secret books "Su Shu" and "Huang Shigong's Three Strategies".
