2. Manila, the capital and largest port of the Philippines, is located on the east coast of Manila Bay, Luzon Island, the largest island in the Philippines, also known as "Little Luzon", close to Manila Bay, a natural harbor. Manila is built on both sides of the Pasig River.

Manila is located in the west of Luzon Island, on the east bank of Manila Bay, at the mouth of the Pasi River, running through the whole city.

Manila Port is the largest port in the Philippines and an important international route to all parts of the country. The Philippine Port Authority is a government agency responsible for supervising the operation and management of ports.
