The national hockey league of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States

The National Hockey League (NHL) is the largest professional hockey game in North America and the highest level professional hockey league in the world. NHL was founded in 19 17 Montreal, Quebec, Canada. At the beginning, there were five teams. After a series of expansion, there are 30 teams temporarily, of which 24 are located in the United States and 6 are located in Canada. * * * Team is divided into two areas, East and West, and each area is divided into three sub-areas. Traditionally, most players are Canadian because of the Canadian origin of the league. With the NHL actively expanding to the United States, and compared with the high standards of other leagues and the output of ready-made high-level players after the collapse of the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe, the number of European players and American players has increased significantly. Even so, half of the players on the roster were born in Canada.
