According to legend, Taoist Yuan Tiangang and his half-brother Li Chunfeng were two famous Feng Shui masters in my country at that time. Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, had just conquered the country. Due to years of war, the people were displaced, the fields were barren, and the economy was depressed. He began the famous Zhenguan rule in Chinese history, and implemented the nationwide policy of reducing corvee taxes, maintaining health, practicing frugality, opening up new avenues of speech, and humbly accepting advice. He reigned for 23 years, focusing on agriculture, which enabled the Tang Dynasty's economic development and social stability. , the politics were clear and clear, men farmed and women weaved, and the people were prosperous and healthy. A prosperous scene soon appeared in the Tang Dynasty. The country was peaceful and the people were peaceful, and the weather was smooth. The rule of Zhenguan ushered in the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty. Emperor Li Shimin was wary of danger. For the sake of the hereditary dynasty of the Li family, he asked a Feng Shui master to help the Tang Dynasty find the four pillars of peace in the world: the emperor, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. At that time, Li Chunfeng and Yuan Tiangang acted as counselors for Li Shimin to conquer the world and stabilize the development of the Tang Dynasty.
According to the holy order, they placed the imperial and Confucian pillars in the inner palace; the Buddhist pillars were placed in Wutai Mountain, and the Daoist pillars were placed in Laoshan Mountain. Therefore, after Li Chunfeng and Yuan Tiangang came to Laoshan to measure Feng Shui, they saw that there was no Sky Eye or Earth Eye in Laoshan and returned to the palace. Later, he returned to Laoshan and spent several days using the Bagua compass to continue searching. As a result, he found the Sky Eye and the Earth Eye of Laoshan in the southeast direction of Cuobu Ridge. He immediately returned to Beijing to resume his duties. Li Shimin was very happy and ordered to choose an auspicious day to build it here. Temple, and the emperor gave the temple its name: "Huang De'an".
After Huang De'an was built, it was very glorious. A hall named "South Pavilion" was built at the eye of the sky and the earth. The one enshrined inside is Guanyin sitting upside down. Li Chunfeng dedicated a couplet to Guanyin sitting upside down. The first couplet is: Ask Guanyin why you sit upside down? The second line is: Because the world refuses to look back. The horizontal batch has no words.
