Can anyone please help me adjust this raindrop desktop weather plug-in? How can I adjust it to my own city?
There are two types of weather skins, one is foreign and the other is domestic. Before modifying, let’s first determine whether the skin is domestic or foreign.
Domestic Weather: You will see a link under the title MeasureWeatherRSS. In the red box of this link is a string of pure numbers, proving that this is a domestic weather skin.
Foreign weather:
Similarly, if what you see in this title code is not pure numbers, this is a foreign weather skin. In China, it starts with CH.
How to modify the city code:
Change the code in the red box in the picture above to the code of your own city, save the file and refresh the skin. When modifying, please note that not all foreign weather codes begin with CH, but only those in China begin with CH, so look carefully.
How to find the city code:
Send a query tool directly to make the query more convenient.
After decompressing the gadget, double-click the file in the red box:
Enter the name of the city you want to query in the box and click OK:
Copy and replace the query results Just enter the ini file code.

As before, please pay attention to distinguish whether the weather you want to modify is domestic weather or foreign weather.
Finally, let’s extend the city code about weather: If you are abroad, it is best not to use domestic weather skins, because the weather in foreign countries measured by domestic weather networks is unreliable. The same applies to foreign countries. The weather in China measured by the weather network is not as detailed as that in our country.
In addition, because foreign weather networks do not cover Chinese cities comprehensively, some remote cities or counties may not be able to query foreign city codes. In this case, give up and use a domestic skin, or change the foreign skin code to a domestic one.
If you really don’t know how, send me a private message and I will help you change it. . .
