Lingquan Lake, located more than ten miles west of Jiaozuo New District, is the largest environmental protection park under construction in Jiaozuo City. There are ancient temples such as Lingquan Temple, Longwang Temple and Jixian Academy. It is also an important town in the ancient Shang Dynasty, with existing Fucheng ruins. It is famous for its delicate water and the miracle of spring, and many scholars always get inspiration from it to write books and study. What is worthy of glory is that the birthplace of "modern Taiji" is also here, adding more luster to the holy land of Lingquan.

In the mid-1970s, it was the seat of Xiuwu County Agricultural University, facing Lingquan Educated Youth Farm across the river, and Xiuwu County Water Conservancy Bureau built a station here to manage surface water. Mr. Xu Huaiqing was an educated youth on the farm at that time. Because there are famous fountains and clear lakes here, many scholars and scholars near Fiona Fang often gather here to talk about things, and several old people often come and go in the May 7th Cadre School not far from the east. In the process of chatting, Taiji culture is a topic that is often discussed privately. Therefore, Mr. Xu Huaiqing copied many predecessors' Taiji cultural manuscripts here, and made detailed exploration and serious research. Based on the precious materials handed down by previous generations, such as Taiji Classic, Taiji Daozhen Formula, Taiji Shenshu and Taiji Eighty-one Atlas, it took more than forty years to brew, sort out, interpret and play, and finally completed the Outline of Modern Taiji. This is the feeling of Lingquan, the enlightenment of Lingquan's native land, the help of Lingquan Academy and the crystallization of Lingquan people's painstaking efforts.

The establishment of Taiji culture in China can be traced back to Fuxi's painting of hexagrams, which has a history of more than 8,000 years, including the establishment of Taiji hexagrams (three points are eight), the expansion and development of Taiji Yijing (Lianshan Yi, Gankun Yi, Guizang Yi and Zhouyi), the development of Taiji Daoism (everything is born) and Taiji Neo-Confucianism (Wuji and Taiji). However, the most significant meaning of Taiji always comes down to the true, practical and practical original meaning of life, which is "One Tai Chi through the ages", "One Tai Chi in Wan Yu", "One Tai Chi in everything" and "One Tai Chi for everyone".
The study of Taiji is a university question, and it is the core and program that covers, monopolizes, leads and runs through all historical periods and cultural fields. The study of Taiji is the study of sages, kings and gentlemen, and the origin, root and foundation of China culture. The soul of China's traditional culture and culture, as well as the essence of Chinese studies, are fundamentally, from the source, in the final analysis, the study of Tai Chi. However, among many scholars at present, they don't know much about Tai Chi culture which has been passed down for thousands of years, and even less about modern Tai Chi. The basic concept of Taiji is still very vague. It is the loss of Taiji culture to impersonate and replace Taiji with traditional Yin-Yang culture and Yin-Yang theory. The completion of Modern Taiji fills a gap in the 8,000-year inheritance of Taiji culture in China and lays a good foundation for the healthy development of Taiji culture.
