Chongqing, referred to as "Chongqing" for short, is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), located in the southwest of China, and is the center of economy, finance, science and technology, shipping, trade and logistics in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
Chongqing is a national historical and cultural city. 1 189, Zhao Dun, Song Guangzong, was given the title of King Gong first, and then ascended the throne, calling himself "double happiness", hence the name Chongqing.
Chongqing is dominated by the Han nationality, and ethnic minorities mainly include Tujia and Miao. There are abundant tourism resources, including the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Dazu Stone Carvings, Wulong Karst, a world natural heritage, and Jinfo Mountain in Nanchuan.
