The former is used to collect the driver's steering intention, and the latter is used to monitor the vehicle movement. When the steering angle sensor of the steering wheel detects the steering angle of the driver, it will notify the ESP computer. The computer can calculate the actual trajectory of the vehicle according to the speed of each wheel. Then inform the braking system to brake a certain wheel and correct the motion trajectory. When the actual trajectory is consistent with the theoretical trajectory (driver's intention), ESP will automatically release the control.
