Brief introduction of Xilai ancient temple
Xilai Ancient Temple, also known as Xixi Buddha. Located in Huilai County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, on the west bank of Longxi, Xixi Village, Xixi Town, it used to be the only place where the ancient tidal road passed. It was built in the fourth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1525) to commemorate the ancestors of the Tang Dynasty monk Dadian who came here to beg for rain and help the people. Behind the temple, the Longjiang River flows, and the roads and cars run west. 1983, on behalf of the abbot to repair and expand, making the ancient temple more spectacular.
Xilai Ancient Temple 1988 was registered and opened in August, and 1990 12.3 was announced by the county government as a county cultural relics protection unit.
