Yayao Township Junior High School is located in the northeast of Rongan County, about 50 kilometers away from the county seat. It is a remote mountainous junior high school. Yayao Middle School was founded in March 1969. At the beginning of the school's establishment, the school building was mainly a former commune pig farm with an area of ​​about 120 square meters. From 1970 to 1972, two bungalows were built, which were dry-made civil structures with an area of ​​400 square meters and were used as classrooms and dormitories. In 1975, 13 courtyards with civil structures were built as teachers' housing. From 1986 to 2002, 740 square meters of dilapidated buildings were demolished. With more than 1.8 million yuan allocated by superiors and self-raised, 30 sets of teachers' housing with an area of ​​1,129 square meters were built. Since 1999, the school has raised more than 100,000 yuan to build a school gate, a guard room, toilets, walls, school roads, a moral education corridor, a flag-raising platform, plant flowers and trees (1,500 square meters), and hardened grounds (4,400 square meters).
