The direction of the divine throne?
1: Don’t enshrine the shrine next to a pillar. It is also taboo to have a beam on your head. Don't let the statue face the same direction as the top beam. This can lead to unhappy marriages and disobedient children. You are prone to car accidents and accidental injuries. It is easy to offend people by speaking. Memory is easily lost. 2: Don’t offer idols in the kitchen. Of course - except the Kitchen God. I once saw someone put statues of gods and ancestors in the kitchen together, exposing them to smoke and fire every day. As a result, the owner was very unhappy. His daughter got divorced, and the hostess had surgery for stomach cancer. She often heard people walking in the middle of the night. Sound, (no one is actually walking) seriously affects life. Later, I conducted an investigation and discovered this problem. I invited the statues of gods and ancestors out, and re-installed them in their proper places, and things gradually became peaceful. 3: Do not let the altar face the bedroom door directly. Don't face the spikes. Don't touch the bathroom door. Generally, don't let the statue face the way in and the main road. Of course, it is possible to make the gods face the coming and going roads in special places, but it must be a professional Feng Shui master to do this well. Don't try it easily - otherwise, I'm afraid, instead of receiving blessings, you will get into trouble. 4: Don’t offer idols on the refrigerator. Since the living space of modern people is relatively small, many people put idols on the refrigerator, thinking that all they have to do is be sincere, but little do they know that this can also lead to trouble. I saw a house like this in Quanzhou. I judged that the male owner was impotent and the female owner was frigid. The result is correct. His youngest daughter often faints for no apparent reason, and the hospital cannot find out the cause. You will know the reason after you think about it. (Their home faces Renbing, and the refrigerator is at the corner of Hairen). 5: Do not offer idols to gods in the bedroom. The bedroom is where we rest, and most of our daily lives are casual and not solemn enough. The couple’s bedroom—not to mention. If you are limited to space, and you happen to be a disciple who needs to do homework, or do visualization, and need to face the statues of gods or Buddhas, but there is no other space to go, I suggest you make a small box and usually put the statues, Please put Buddha statues, scriptures, etc. into the box and place them in a clean space at a higher place. It is best not to put them in the room. Please take them out when needed. When you enter the bedroom, the bedroom must be clean and tidy, and the clothes of yourself and others must also be neat and clean, so that you can change. I once saw someone keep a statue of God or Buddha in the bedroom, do homework every day, and be very pious, but it was still not going well. The man even got into trouble and almost got divorced. (Gods and Buddhas are all pure and subtle. When we recite sutras, countless sentient beings come to listen to the sutras. Because their dojo does not conform to the Dharma, sentient beings in the evil realms cannot benefit from hearing the Dharma, so they are distressed. The bedroom is dirty. It was so heavy, no wonder it was so) I got better after following my advice). 6: Do not offer offerings to multiple gods, (more than four) Buddhas, or images of gods. The power of faith---comes from your heart. Only by having single-minded faith can you truly communicate with each other. For example, making offerings to Medicine Buddha comes from having faith in Medicine Buddha, reciting his great vows, reciting his name, and following his instructions, and you will naturally receive blessings. If you hear about the majesty of a certain Buddha or a certain god tomorrow and change your faith to another, it means your belief is impure - how can you get blessings from day to day? 7: Do not use the bathroom wall as the background behind the statue. It is best not to use the elevator wall as the background. (If you really need to use the elevator wall as the background, you need to make another wall yourself, but avoid using the bathroom as the background.) This is a serious leakage of money. 8: Don’t enshrine idols on top of the TV. Do not enshrine it on speakers or speakers. If the sound is too loud, it itself is a kind of evil spirit. Worshiping it will lead to bad luck, frequent troubles at work, and your words will become less and less effective. He is often ignored and criticized. 9; Do not worship gods or statues in the opposite direction. For example, if this house is oriented in the direction of Meridian, don’t place the god’s position in the direction of Meridian. This will harm people. It can also lead to gambling addiction in family members. (There is no fault if the owner is adopted). There are many such examples, because in modern housing, it is difficult for ordinary people to distinguish which side is the front and which is the back. This is all the fault of modern architecture! 10: Do not place two or more shrines at home. This will make it difficult to raise a child. With such a display, the child usually needs to be adopted by someone else. I often face dilemmas in my career. Couples often share the same bed but have different dreams, so be careful! If the owner is an adopted child, has two surnames, and needs to support both parents, then it doesn't matter. It will also bring unexpected benefits.
11: At home, generally do not enshrine statues of angry-eyed gods or gods with ferocious expressions unless you are a witch or wizard. Do not enshrine a damaged god. The statue of Buddha should be repaired according to the law and then be offered and enshrined on an auspicious day. When choosing a statue to offer to a deity, it should generally be kind and kind, and its eyes should be slightly inward-looking, so that it can favor the owner's family and easily obtain blessings. This is especially true for the statue of the Earth God! 12: Don’t let two idols face each other. (East and west facing each other, or north and south facing each other) Do not arrange more than two statues of gods in irregular shapes. (If you offer three statues of gods and Buddhas at the same time, and their status has been recognized and distinguished, you can place two assistant gods in parallel under the main god. For example, if you offer Amitabha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, you can have Amitabha standing next to them. In the middle, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva face each other). Generally, they choose to face the outside world. 13: Don’t get confused. Out of great compassion, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and the Three Pure Saints sympathize with all sentient beings as if they were innocent children. Therefore, they preach the virtue of abstaining from killing and abstaining from eating blood. However, there are some gods who are still in the ground of cause, the causes and conditions in the past life have not been resolved, and the troubles have not been cut off, and living beings offer blood and food because they follow the customs, so there is no blame for this. However, if you make offerings to Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and higher saints, you will not receive blessings but will receive sins! Must know! ! ! 14: Don’t pray evil wishes to gods. As the saying goes: "The human heart is the same as the Buddha's heart, and the Buddha's heart is the same as the human heart." You should know that: you can understand by feeling. People have evil wishes, and cause and effect follow the same path. If you fail to harm others, you will harm yourself! It is the divine duty to bear the burden of all sentient beings, so how can it harm others? For example, if you are a god - today someone comes to pray for the sun, some comes to pray for rain, some comes to pray for wind, some comes to pray for no wind, some come to pray for wealth, some come to pray for not to lose money, how will you deal with it? The starting point is always not to annoy everyone, right? Therefore, if you have bad wishes, don’t pray, as it will harm yourself instead of harming others! ! ! 15: Don’t ask gods to send you gifts at will. Worshiping the gods is a serious process. As the saying goes: Once a teacher, always a father. The same goes for making offerings to the gods! Whether you are an ordinary person or a professional Feng Shui master, or a practitioner of rituals - you should keep this in mind! ! ! If for some reason it is inconvenient to worship the gods, you should explain the reason clearly in front of the gods, and then invite the statues of gods and Buddhas to the corresponding dojo. (Inside a palace or temple). Don't throw it away at will, otherwise it will make you uneasy and unhappy! 16: The height of the god’s throne is generally at the same level as our eyebrows. About 166cm. It is better to be at eye level with us and slightly higher. Remember---it is best for the eyes of the idol to look slightly inward. This is called --- looking back at internal cultivation, it is important to examine one's body three times a day (xing).
