League of Legends Swiss Roulette Rules
Take the League of Legends Global Championship as an example. If you want to pass the test of the Swiss Round and enter the knockout stage, you need to win three games at this stage, or you will be eliminated if you encounter three losses. The Swiss Round consists of five rounds, and each round is decided by drawing lots.
Sixteen teams will be divided into four draw groups, the first seed group, the second seed group, the third seed group, the fourth seed group and the final team group. According to the order, the draw is divided into eight games, in which BO 1 is played, 1 is played against No.4 seed pool, and No.2 seed pool is played against No.3 seed pool. The knockout and promotion matches are based on BO3, and the rest are based on BO 1. After the first round, there will be a match between teams with the same record. If you win three games, the team will advance, and if you lose three games, you will be eliminated.
match
In the first round, all eight games and one game will decide the outcome (to be avoided in the same division). After these eight games, 16 teams will be divided into two groups according to the outcome, 1-0 with 8 teams and 0-/kloc-0 with 8 teams. The second round is also eight games. The principle after drawing lots is that the team with 1-0 record will play a game to decide the outcome, and the team with 0- 1 record will play 0- 1 record. After this round, there will be 4 teams with a record of 2-0 and 4 teams with a record of 0-2.
In the third round, the first team to advance to the knockout stage will be born. The matches related to elimination and promotion will be set as two wins in three games, two games for 2-0 team, four games for 1- 1 team and two games for 0-2 team. After the third round, it will be announced that the two teams will advance to the knockout stage with a score of 3-0 and the two teams will be eliminated with a score of 0-3.
In the fourth round, the team with 2- 1 played three games, and the winner advanced to the knockout stage. The team with 1-2 played three games. After the game, three teams were promoted and three teams were eliminated. The remaining six teams are all 2-2. The fifth round is the last chance to advance to the knockout stage. 2-2 teams play, 3 teams advance and 3 teams are eliminated.
