The Geomantic Symbolic Significance of Melia azedarach
Azadirachta indica is a very light-loving tree species with poor shade tolerance. When the shade lacks light, it will stop growing and die gradually because of lack of light. Therefore, when we plant neem trees, we will plant them in sunny places, which will also prosper the yang of our family and greatly help to improve the feng shui of our family.
However, in rural areas, some people still think that the name Melia azedarach is not very good, mainly because the homonym of Melia azedarach is similar to that of relatives. Literally, it has a melancholy meaning. Therefore, it is often used by people to express homesickness and infinite emotion when wandering abroad. But from the perspective of geomantic botany, Melia azedarach must grow in strong sunlight. If it's shady, it's not good. The meaning of living in the sun is still very positive.
Planting method of neem tree
1, land selection and land preparation
Azadirachta indica has the characteristics of being fond of temperature, humidity, alkali and barren. Sandy soil with deep soil layer, loose soil, fertile soil, good drainage, rich humus content and good permeability is mostly suitable. The slightly acidic red soil, yellow soil, sandy soil and black soil can basically be used to grow neem.
2. Breeding method
There are generally two propagation modes of Azadirachta azedarach, namely seed propagation and cutting propagation. Seed treatment should be done well before sowing, otherwise the germination rate is slow and the germination rate is very low. Most treatment methods are to soak neem seeds in water with a water temperature of 70-80 degrees. Take out the seeds after fully absorbing water to accelerate germination, and sow after 10% of the seeds are exposed to bud white.
3. Transplanting and planting
When the neem seedlings grow to 35 to 50 cm, we will do a good job of transplanting and planting. The planting density is mostly 55 ~ 1 10 plants per mu. At first, the row spacing was three or four meters, and the plant spacing was two or three meters. When the plant grows for the second time, then we need to transplant and plant it for the second time, with the row spacing of five to six meters and the plant spacing of four to five meters.
