What five elements does red Hao Shi belong to?
Belonging to earth
When metal is strong and fire is present, it becomes a vessel.
Metal can generate water, and if there is too much water, metal will sink; if metal is strong enough to get water, its edge will be blunted.
Metal can overcome wood, but if there is too much wood, metal will be lacking; if wood is weak and meets metal, it will be cut down.
Gold depends on the soil, and if the soil is rich, gold will be buried; soil can produce gold, and if there is too much gold, the soil will change! Hao means the appearance of the sun, which means sunlight, and sunlight means fire. This refers to the original meaning. Hao, stroke 12 in Kangxi dictionary. In terms of name, 12 is wood, and this character belongs to wood. Hao, the pinyin is hao, from the five elements of music, h is horn wood. To sum up, if the name is used, the latter two should be used as the standard, that is, Hao means wood. Because when you give a name, you must follow the rules of the name, just like you must abide by the laws of which country you enter.
1 What is red zircon
Red zircon (English: jacinth) is a reddish-brown or brown-red zircon. In addition to natural red zircon, some zircon can also obtain deep reddish brown or deep red color after heat treatment or X-ray radiation. The latter will fade if exposed to sunlight for a long time, first becoming lighter, then fading to purple, and finally colorless. Therefore, it is called purple agate in some literature.
A red zircon crystal weighing 15 pounds and about 30 centimeters long was discovered in Ontario, Canada, but its transparency was poor. Natural red zircon is also produced in Hainan Island, my country.
Zircon belongs to the tetragonal crystal system and is often in the shape of short columns. Metallic light or glass luster, generally brown or light gray or red, yellow, blue, colorless, transparent or opaque. Zircon is insoluble in acid and alkali, non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, and has weak electrical conductivity. Zircon sand has low thermal expansion, high thermal conductivity, and strong chemical stability. The refractive index of "high type" is 1.925-1.984, and "low type" is 1.780-1.815. The birefringence is 0.059 for "high type" and 0.005 for "low type". The "high type" dispersion is stronger, 0.04. Hardness "high type" 7-7.5, "low type" 6. The density of "high type" is 4.6-4.8 grams/cubic centimeter, and the "low type" is 3.9-4.1 grams/cubic centimeter. Has strong brittleness. Under ultraviolet irradiation, "high-type" zircon fluoresces red.
The main component of red zircon is zirconium silicate, with the chemical formula Zr[SiO4]. In addition to mainly containing zirconium, it often also contains hafnium, rare earth elements, niobium, tantalum, thorium, etc.
2 Red zircon price
The price of red zircon is mainly determined by several factors such as color, transparency, clarity, size and workmanship, and is also greatly affected by market factors. .
At present, there is a large demand for blue zircon in the market, so its price is higher than that of other colors of zircon. The influence of other factors is the same as that of ordinary gemstones such as garnet.
3 Uses of red zircon
80% of the world’s zircon is directly used in the foundry industry, ceramics, glass industry and the manufacture of refractory materials.
A small amount of zircon is used in ferroalloys, medicine, paints, tanning, abrasives, chemical and nuclear industries. A very small amount of zircon is used to smelt zirconium metal. Zircon sand can be used as a casting material for ferrous metals in foundries. Zircon and aluminum-containing minerals can be used to make zirconium and aluminum abrasives. Also used as bricks for glass kilns. Zirconium alloy is a widely used material in the atomic energy industry. It is mainly used in nuclear reactors of nuclear power plants, nuclear power ships and submarines. Coatings containing zirconium have insulating properties and can be used as insulating glass coatings, anti-coking coatings, refractory insulating coatings, and heat-insulating coatings. Zirconium-containing tanning agents can be used to tan high-quality white leather. Fabrics impregnated with zirconium compounds are waterproof, heat-resistant and anti-corrosive.
In the eyes of Westerners, wearing red zircon can have a hypnotic effect, drive away plagues, and defeat evil. Nowadays, some countries use zircon and turquoise together as the "December birthstone", symbolizing success and victory. High-type zircon is a mineral that crystallized in the early stages of magma. It contains no or little radioactive elements and is harmless to the human body.
4 Red zircon synthesis method
The mineral processing method requires a combination of gravity, magnetic, flotation, and electricity methods. Without special chemicals with high selectivity, it is difficult to obtain concentrate products that meet industrial requirements using a single flotation method.
(1) In the gravity separation method, zircon is mostly found in ilmenite, and is often accompanied by heavy minerals such as hematite, chromite, and garnet. Therefore, the zircon is initially enriched. The gravity separation method is often used in this stage, such as using a shaking table to separate heavy minerals from gangue (quartz, feldspar, biotite), etc., and then using other mineral processing methods to separate from other heavy minerals.
(2) Flotation method: The commonly used collectors in flotation are fatty acids, such as oleic acid and sodium oleate; the slurry conditioner is mainly soda, pH=7~8; the inhibitor is silicon Sodium acid acid; the activator is sodium sulfide and heavy metal salts such as zirconium chloride and ferric chloride. Oxalic acid is also used to adjust the pulp to acidity, and amines or amine derivatives are used as collectors.
(3) Electrical separation method The electric separation method uses the difference in conductivity of minerals to combine conductive minerals such as ilmenite, hematite, chromite, cassiterite, and rutile with zircon, monazite, Separation of non-conductive minerals such as garnet and apatite. Before electrical selection, desliming, classification, drying, heating and chemical dosing should be carried out in advance.
(4) Magnetic minerals in heavy minerals by magnetic separation include ilmenite, hematite, chromite, garnet, biotite, monazite, etc.; zircon is a non-magnetic mineral or weak mineral. Magnetic minerals (in some mineral deposits, zircon contains iron and is weakly magnetic). Magnetic separation methods are divided into two types: dry and wet. Dry magnetic separation requires the selected materials to be heated, dried, classified and other pre-processing before sorting. The wet high-field magnetic separator has a wider particle size and the lower limit of the particle size can reach 20 μm. Therefore, when the zircon particle size is fine, a wet magnetic separator is more suitable.
