First, how to raise it?

1. Soil: Tong Lei is fleshy and suitable for growing in soft sandy loam. If the soil is too sticky, the root's breathing will be blocked, resulting in its poor growth. Potted soil is usually made of peat soil and vermiculite. Appropriate amount of bone meal can be added to the soil as base fertilizer to provide certain nutrients for plants.

2. Illumination: The growth of meat quality in Tong Lei cannot be separated from sufficient illumination. Usually, it should be placed on the balcony or courtyard in spring and autumn to fully receive the light, but it should be properly shaded in summer to avoid sunburn.
