What are the three provinces of Cockcrow?
Crowing in three provinces
It means: in the morning, a rooster crows and can be heard in three provinces at the same time.
That is: as the ancients said, "when the golden rooster crows in unison, all three provinces will know it."
It is also commonly known as: "One rooster crows three provinces" or "One foot steps on three provinces".
There are many "Three Cock-Crowing Provinces" in my country, 42 of them (for details, you can check the list in Baidu Encyclopedia).
But the most famous place is Shixiangzi, the place where the "three cockcrow provinces" meet at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan.
Shixiangzi (now Shiba Yi Township) is an important part of the old revolutionary area in Sichuan. It is named after several huge box-shaped rocks standing at the head of the field. It is located in Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou. Located on the banks of the Chishui River at the junction of the three provinces, among the mountains of the Wumeng Mountains, 79 kilometers away from Xuyong County, it is known as the "Three Cock-Crowing Provinces".
According to the "Communist Party History Materials Collection Newsletter" (first issue of 1985) and other relevant party history documents:
On February 3, 1935, the Central Red Army was stationed in Shixiangzi, and held a series of important meetings from that day to February 5 (now collectively referred to as the Shixiangzi Meeting). The meeting made three important decisions: First, it was decided that Luo Fu (Zhang Wentian) should replace Bogu (Qin Bangxian) as the general secretary of the Party Central Committee, realize the transfer of power from Bogu, and completely solve the problem of central leadership since the Zunyi Conference. , to further establish Mao's leadership position in the entire party and the entire army; second, the meeting decided that the Central Revolutionary Military Commission departments would assemble from Xuyong and Gulin to Tashi (i.e. prestige) in Yunnan. This was the preparation for the Central Red Army after crossing Chishui. The battle order to cross the Yangtze River north and advance towards Tashi was also the beginning of a change in strategic direction; the third was to change the "triangular area" previously designated by the Central Revolutionary Military Commission as the most basic area for the Central Branch and the Central Military Region and the final position that must be defended The decision was made, and the basic principle of "upholding guerrilla warfare" was not allowed to waver, so that the Central Bureau could jump out of the "triangular area" to launch mass guerrilla warfare and save the Central Soviet Area.
