Che Gong Temple is on Che Gong's birthday.
Tai Wai Chegong Temple, located in Tai Wai, Sha Tin, was built in the late Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years.
Chegong Temple, Wuwen Temple, Wong Tai Sin Temple and Fotangmen Temple are also called one of the four major temples in Hong Kong.
On the third day of the first month of each year, Chegong Temple is the most prosperous day for incense.
The Ming Dynasty was the period when Han people worshipped Zhen. When the plague broke out in the New Territories, villagers in Sha Tin marched in September holding the plaque of Chegong Temple, and the plague was miraculously eliminated, so the villagers set up a temple to worship Chegong Temple.
In addition to paying homage to Che Gong, we have to turn windmills and drums. Turning the windmill can be transshipped, and drumming will inform the lathe operator that it has arrived. There is also an ancient rock garden near Chegong Temple.
Transportation: Take the train to Sha Tin Tai Wai Station or Ma Tie to che kung temple station, and walk along the signs of the railway station 10 minutes.
