I am busy writing manuscripts every day, and I only have time to draw after I finish the manuscript. Usually, brushes, paints and papers are carried with you. I copied an illustration in the coffee shop and shared it with everyone.

1. Decide on the positions of the main flower and characters, and draw them with a pencil first.

2. Complete all the line drawings. Except for the main flower, other parts are much more casual and simple.

3. The back of the petals is bright red and watery pink, and the inner side of the petals is bright red and earthy yellow. Be sure to smudge when wet, otherwise there will be water marks in the transition area.

4. After all the petals are completed, start drawing the leaves, buds and branches. The flower buds are blue and dark green, and the leaves and branches are dark green and light green. This won't look dull.

5. For the girl’s hair, I first applied a layer of base color with earthy yellow, then after drying, applied a layer of black, and then gently rubbed out the highlights. For the clothes, I used light blue and water, and laid a light layer.

6. The whole thing is completed. It was very casual while I was painting and taking pictures in the past. The lights in the coffee shop were dim, so the effect was not that good. After taking the finished product, I increased the brightness on my phone and it looked much better~

Tonight’s Q version cartoon character copying line drawing: cute girl. It’s been a long time since I copied anything, except for last night’s watercolor cat. The shape of the drawing was not accurate, the line drawing was revised several times, and the following pictures are old versions. In the end, the details of the pencil drawing were not finished and the lines were drawn directly. Fortunately, there was no big problem.

I drew it on 16-karat watercolor paper. I have never painted a Q version of a character by myself. The head and eyes are really big. Later, I enlarged the picture on my mobile phone to make it look more like it. It was a bit deformed when I zoomed in. The paper is probably scratched, so I hope it won't affect the coloring.

The watercolor copy and color picture will be in the next article and has been posted. I ran out of time on the day I finished the line drawing.

I don’t have any painting foundation, so I will continue to work hard in the future.

It is said that it takes about 1_2 hours to color this line drawing, but it only took me a few hours to draw the line drawing. However, the characters are very cute and I like them very much, so I rarely do anything with them.

In the past, it took more than 5 hours to paint a painting with watercolors. It depends on the situation. The painting is a bit large, and there are many gradient colors and texture treatments, so it cannot be simply painted flat. I hope I can finish it tomorrow, and I hope the effect is worthy of the line drawing I copied.

I really want to change my hair color and clothes color, although I also like the original color.

Unfortunately, this is just a line drawing, and I am too lazy to copy and draw it twice with different colors.

I still want to change it into a little witch with a wizard hat and a wand, but I will draw it later.

Taken with a mobile phone, the photo is a bit colorful and dark. There are slight adjustments and retouching, and there are cropped borders.

I have copied and colored some other watercolor and colored pencil paintings before. There are a lot of things I want to draw, and I hope to have the opportunity to try them.
