According to the press conference of the China Meteorological Administration in February 2013, we learned that since the beginning of winter, haze has occurred frequently in most areas of the central and eastern regions, with the number of haze days generally exceeding five days. Meteorological experts said that there are three main reasons for the frequent and severe haze weather:
First, the cold air activity affecting our country in January was weaker than usual, with low wind speed, and most of the central and eastern regions The frequency of stable atmospheric conditions is significantly higher, especially in North China, which is as high as 64.5%, the highest in the past 10 years, which can easily cause pollutants to accumulate near the ground, leading to frequent haze weather;
The second is The high background concentration of aerosols in winter in my country is conducive to the formation of haze;
Third, haze weather will make the near-surface atmosphere more stable, aggravate the development of haze and increase air pollution. The formation of haze weather is not only affected by meteorological conditions, but also related to the increase in the emission of air pollutants. It is recommended to further increase the management and protection of the atmospheric environment, especially to strengthen multi-department consultation and linkage, and improve the air pollutants under static and stable weather conditions. Emergency emission reduction plans to prevent and control the occurrence of heavy pollution weather.
