Fuzhou is located at the eastern end of central Fujian province, between 25 15 ′ ~ 26 39 ′ north latitude and 118 8 ′ ~ 12 31 ′ east longitude. It is adjacent to Taiwan Province Strait in the east, Sanming City and Nanping City in the west, Putian City in the south and Ningde City in the north. The landform belongs to a typical estuary basin, with Gushan Mountain in the east, Qishan Mountain in the west, Wuhu Mountain in the south and Lotus Peak in the north, with an altitude of 6 ~ 1 meters.
