Pay attention to the feng shui of citron trees when planting rafters.
1. Because of the weak branch strength, it can be lightly cut during the growth period, and it is best to combine binding modeling to keep as many branches and leaves as possible.
2. reduce watering before the flower bud capacity is formed, so that the growth of branches and tips will stop gradually, and stop watering in late August. After 3/4 days of sun exposure, the leaves will droop and turn inward due to lack of water. The flower bud differentiation is completed when the main bud and the preparatory bud of the plant have expanded and turned from green to white. At this time, the amount of watering is gradually restored, and thin fertilizer is applied, which can bloom one after another from the end of August to the beginning of September. When the basin soil is in a relatively dry state, some water can be sprinkled on the leaves in the morning and evening, and some water can be sprinkled on the middle of the basin at noon to prevent the leaves from wilting. During flowering and early fruit setting, water should be less than usual. Too much water, too little water or too much fertilizer will cause flowers and fruits to drop. Do not spray water during flowering. Sprinkle water in the surrounding environment before noon and in the evening to prevent dust and keep the air fresh and moist. After the young fruits grow to be big and stable, the amount of watering and moderate topdressing can be increased, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizer are the main fertilizers.
3. The room temperature should not be too high during the fruit viewing period. Keeping the air fresh and moist can prolong the viewing time. During the growing period, sufficient light is required, and no shade is allowed. The branches and leaves of citron can release volatile oil with bactericidal effect, which greatly reduces bacteria and microorganisms in indoor air, thus having the function of refreshing air.
