Where is the tomb of King Zhuangxiang of Qin located?
The Tomb of King Zhuangxiang of Qin is a cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province.
The tomb of King Qin Zhuangxiang is located to the west of Hansen Village in the eastern suburbs, outside the east gate of the current zoo, and is locally called "Hansen Tomb". The tomb is 22 meters high and originally occupied an area of more than 60 acres. In 1993, it was about 30 acres. Because there is a stone on the tomb "Tomb of King Zhuangxiang of Qin" belonging to Bi Yuan, governor of Shaanxi during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was mistakenly believed that this tomb was the tomb of King Zhuangxiang of Qin. However, according to "Historical Records of Qin", the Qin State established its capital in Xianyang in the late Warring States Period, and King Zhaoxiang, Queen Mother Xuan, Prince Yao, King Zhuangxiang and the Emperor Queen Mother (the Tomb of the First Emperor) were all buried in "Zhiyang". According to Huang Fumi, a famous scholar in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, "King Zhuangxiang of Qin was buried in Lishan Mountain in Zhiyang". In the 1980s, the Qin Dong Tomb was discovered in the Laoniupo area of Youwang Village, Hanyu Township, Lintong County. It was confirmed that King Zhuang Xiang was indeed buried in the Qin Dong Tomb in Lintong County. According to the research of historical records such as "Hanshu", the "Hansen Tomb" should be the "First Emperor Sunzhong" of the father of Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty. "Han Sen Tomb" is the homophonic pronunciation of "Huang Sun Tomb". The tomb belongs to the provincial protection unit and is not developed.
