Ecological Park in Feng Shuigou Town

In 2005, Fengshuigou Town planned and constructed the Mulan Mountain Ecological Park, which integrates planting, breeding, and tourism. In order to ensure the water demand of the 15,000 acres of land in the park, Xiakanzi Village, Fengshuigou Town, implemented a water diversion project to the mountain with the assistance of the town party committee and government. In October 2006, a total of funds were invested in the project More than 400,000 yuan. The water diversion project of Mulanshan Ecological Park includes two construction contents. One is to divert water from Tiedong Coal Mine to the top by burying underground water pipelines, and the other is to divert water from the Yingjin River 1 main channel up the mountain by building open channels. During the implementation of the Tiedong Coal Mine dewatering and water diversion project, the main leaders of the Fengshuigou Town Party Committee, the government, and the leaders of the two committees of Xiakanzi Village coordinated with the leaders of Tiedong Coal Mine many times and received strong support from Tiedong Coal Mine. , the project was successfully implemented as scheduled. The project has been successfully completed, with a total investment of 100,000 yuan and 1,100 meters of pipelines buried. This project not only effectively utilizes mine drainage water, but also solves the water demand of Mulan Mountain Ecological Park.

In the first half of 2006, the town started to implement the Yingjin River 1 main channel water diversion project up the mountain, investing more than 300,000 yuan to build a 2,000-meter earth channel. In order to ensure the safety of the channel, they built cement mortar anti-seepage channels in the steep canal sections, which effectively prevented canal water leakage. The project was nearing completion in October 2006 and will be put into use in the winter of 2006.

It is understood that after the two water diversion projects are fully put into use, more than 1 million cubic meters of water can be transported to the Mulanshan Economic Valley Small Reservoir every year. After the secondary water is lifted and introduced into the ecological park, 15,000 cubic meters of water will be transported to the ecological park. All acres of dry land have been turned into irrigated land, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable and healthy development of Mulanshan Ecological Park.
