Why is there carbon deposit on the throttle?

Regarding the problem of carbon deposition on the accelerator, let's start with the power system of the car. As we all know, the engine is the heart of a car, and its function is to convert material energy into kinetic energy. Specifically, gasoline delivered from a fuel tank is injected through a fuel nozzle and mixed with air in a combustion chamber of an engine. After the spark plug is ignited and exploded, it generates air pressure, which pushes the piston to move downwards and the cam to rotate, thus forming the original power output by the engine to the gearbox. However, it needs to be added that a part of the gas discharged from the engine combustion chamber actually passes through a T-shaped throttle, mixes with fresh air in the natural intake pipe, and then enters the air intake of the engine. The purpose of this is to increase the temperature of the intake air.

Carbon deposition in automobile throttle valve comes from engine oil. Petroleum is a derivative of petroleum. From crude oil to refined oil, from refinery to gas station, it needs to go through a complicated refining process, in which additives with different formulas need to be added. Commonly used 92 # and 95 # gasoline refer to the octane number of oil products. However, we can draw a clear concept from it, that is, gasoline contains many substances. Since it is a variety of substances, and the proportion of such substances is artificially controlled, for example, domestic refined oil contains substances such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and emulsifier.

In the transportation process, the refined oil passes through the oil tank, oil pump, gasoline filter, fuel injector, combustion chamber (including spark plug), valve, throttle and other components. In the process of transforming the energy of matter into kinetic energy, some substances that can't be completely burned generate tiny particles under the action of high-temperature gas, and at the same time, they are wrapped by oil molecules that can't be completely burned, thus forming deposits that can be attached to the metal surface. Under the continuous action of high temperature, the deposit began to sinter and solidify, and finally formed carbon deposit. What is attached to the throttle becomes throttle carbon deposit.
