Wang Qili's Life Experience

19 12. Wang Qili was born in a wealthy family in Jiangjin, Sichuan. His father, Zhang Wang, was an official of the Qing Dynasty. He participated in the activities of protecting roads and anti-Westernization in Sichuan and enjoyed great prestige in the village. The old man likes reading, so he bought many books at home and printed foreign language versions on glossy paper, such as Huxley's Evolution and Liang Qichao's Collection of the Ice Room. Earth books printed on wool paper, such as Zhong's Zhen Tang Collection.

Wang Qili played in his father's library since he was a child. Under the influence of his ears, he not only inspired his unremitting reading heart all his life, but also cultivated an extraordinary hand-eye higher than his peers.

Wang Qili's first teacher was Mr. Liu, a scholar in Qing Dynasty. In the teacher's office, he started with the Four Books and the Five Classics, and then went to China's View of Ancient Literature, Enlightenment of Melody, Study in Qionglin, Fu Xuezheng Drum, Bai Xiang Ci Pu, and later learned the Outline, Zhi Yi Lu, Selected Works and China Ancient Ci Compilation. First, I learned by rote. When I got on the road, I began to try to write a composition, learn to pair up, write poems, do CET-4 and CET-6, and write rhymes. Thirteen years of private school education laid a solid foundation for Wang Qili's future academic career.

1934, Wang Qili, who was in his twenties, was admitted to Jiangjin Middle School and formally received modern education. At the beginning of admission, a classmate died in grade three and the school held a memorial service. Wang sent a pair of elegiac couplets on behalf of a class of freshmen:

Every gentleman is different from you, lamenting that there is no chance, and all the people in the mangrove forest have left; See each other, hate chapter hate life. We will bring a white horse.

This elegiac dictionary is beautiful and neat. At that time, there were more than 100 pairs of elegiac couplets at the memorial service, many of which were masterpieces of Mr. Adult, but they were slightly inferior to each other and competed for a while, which made them famous.

When Qi Wang was in the third grade, it happened that Wu, a famous scholar in Shuzhong, went to Jiangjin Middle School as the principal. Wu is a very diligent person. He gets up at three o'clock every morning to study, and requires all students to get up at the same time for self-study. It is this strict teacher supervision that has cultivated Wang Qili's cautious attitude of working ten hours a day for many years. At that time, Mr. Wu's principal's office and dormitory were across the hall from the third-grade dormitory. Wang Qili often goes to the courting place with his classmates and finds that there are always two books on Mr. Wu's desk: Huainan Notes Collection and Du Shijing. Influenced by it, Wang Qili also bought a set of "Huainan Lie Hong Essays" to read, and tried to use watercolor red to break sentences. After graduating from junior high school, Wang Qili entered the senior high school of Chongqing University. The teachers are all undergraduate professors. Mr. Zong Lu speaks Confucianism in Qing Dynasty, Mr. Chen teaches English, Mr. Guo teaches algebra and Mr. He Lu teaches geometry. At that time, He Lu, Wen Bolu and Xiang Zonglu were all famous, and they were also called "Sanlu". Two of Sanlu teach in Wang Qili's high school class, and Wang Qili has benefited a lot.

Soon after, the three northeastern provinces were occupied by the Japanese army, and Peking University, Tsinghua and Jiaotong University did not set up a test area in Chongqing because of the current situation. Wang Qili then went to Chengdu in the west and took the Chinese Department of Sichuan University. Sichuan University, formerly known as Zunjing Academy, is the center of Shu studies, where famous teachers stay in Confucianism and gather together. The Chinese Department is headed by Zhang Yi, including Three Rites by Gong, Historical Records by Lin Shan, Ci by Zhou Guishu, Ci of Chu by Xianqiao, Zi Jian by Zhu Yi, Shuo Wen by Li, Guang Yun by Zhao and Wen Xin Diao by Ponzi.

In the third year of college, Mr. Xiang Zonglu taught in Sichuan University from Chongqing. Xiang Zonglu is a famous teacher. I studied under Meng, Peng and Zeng Yukang in Chengdu Ancient School, which helped Wang Qili a lot. Later, with the deepening of the war, Sichuan University moved to Emei to avoid being bombed by enemy planes, and arranged for the fourth-grade students of Zonglu to write their graduation thesis. Wang Qili wrote the article Notes on Customs and Righteousness. This monograph not only reflects that he is familiar with collating methods and has rich knowledge of ancient books, but also marks that he has slowly embarked on the arduous academic road of collating and interpreting ancient books.

In the 1940s, Wang Qili was admitted to Peking University College of Literature and studied under Mr. Fu Sinian. Since then, he has embarked on a new academic stage. Learning from the ancients and dealing with the wise became his main life in Academia Sinica. As the only graduate student, three years later (i.e. 1943), he submitted an excellent research achievement-Lu Chunqiu, with 24 volumes and about 2 million words, and won the highest prize awarded by the Ministry of Education at that time. 194 1 year1month 1 1 day, Qi Wang Li is studying in Peking University College of Literature behind closed doors. Suddenly, from Emei, Sichuan, came the amazing news that Mr. Zong Lu, a teacher, had passed away. Wang Qili was deeply saddened by the bad news. At this time, Ms. Mou, Xiang's mistress in Xiaowan, Longfengchang, Baxian County, also sent a telegram, hoping that Wang Neng would go to Emei and send Xiang Zonglu's coffin back to his hometown for burial. Wang Qili immediately sent a telegram asking for leave to his tutor, Mr. Fu Sinian, and bid farewell to Sichuan.

When I arrived in Emei, I met Mr Xiang Xianqiao and Mr Cheng and made representations. The school reissued 300 yuan's salary every month, and sent an old janitor to accompany Wang Qili to Xiaowan Zhuling. However, the meager salary reissued by the school is only enough for the expenses from Emei on the north bank of Jiangjin to Zhongdu Street, including the bus fare, and there are dozens of kilometers of dry roads from Zhongdu Street to Longfengchang Xiaowan. Because a lot of porters are employed, the cost of taking this dry road will be higher than that of taking the sea. Wang sharp weapon turned his heart, and a group of people boarded the boat on the Pingqiang River. The boat entered the river, crossed the harpoon temple from the earthen pot, and it was dangerous all the way. Go through all the difficulties to reach the destination Yibin. At this time, the back toll has become a problem again.

Prior to this, Qi Wang Li wrote an epitaph for a chaebol in Chongqing, and received a considerable decoration fee. He used the money as share capital and set up a venture bank in Jiangjin in partnership with several friends. In order to understand the urgent need, Wang Qili simply took a small steamboat to Jiangjin, took out all his shares to prepare for the later travel expenses, and found Zhao Chuqiao, a relative who runs a tobacco business in Hengjiezi, to do some work. Soon, they organized 36 coolies, either carrying coffins or picking up book boxes, and after meeting with Lao Shi and Tai Gong, they set off on their way.

When we meet Mrs. Shi and Mrs. Tai and arrange the coffin and the mourning hall, it will be over. This arduous trek, which lasted more than a week and traveled nearly 500 kilometers, finally came to a successful conclusion. Wang Qili recalled a sentence from Jin Xun Xi: "The dead are reborn, and the living are innocent." When Mr Pang, who was in Chengdu, heard about it, he wrote the inscription "Magnolia Slow" to remember:

Looking at the side of Qingfeng, beyond the clouds, people are rare. Like a swallow falling, the rafters are sad to send, and the disabled society must be. Clothing recruitment Tears for flowers, where to welcome the dust in Mengqiang Village. The eyes are black and yellow, and the temples add old shadows.

Emei. It's too much trouble to buy branches, and the mountain crane monster sleeps late. The lamp bed is in a mess, and whoever writes in the auditorium is empty. Sadness. A coffin water column, eight after the fee, double sleeves, singing and dancing. The soul is broken, the moon is cold, and the night is empty.

In the poem, Houba's grave burial and Yang Ziyun's burial are allusions, praising Wang's weapon of "fame and fortune".

Amazing achievements after the catastrophe 1945 After graduation, Teacher Wang was hired as a lecturer by the School of Literature of Sichuan University, his alma mater, and concurrently served as a professor at Guanghua University. He regards Huai Nan Zi as a must-read. Every time I think of it, I have to put pen to paper between my eyebrows and my footer. I have gained a lot over the years. On one occasion, he gave a speech at the invitation of Liu Zhenhua, director of the China Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During the conversation, Liu Dechang asked about the origin of the phrase "a parallel turtle has no belly", and Wang Qili quickly found the answer according to Huainan Ming Pian, which made Mr. Liu admire him.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Peking University resumed his studies. At the invitation of Peking University, Wang Qili returned to the Chinese Department to teach collating and other special books such as Historical Records, Zhuangzi and Wen Xin Diao Long. Since then, he has been engaged in teaching and research. After 1956, it was transferred to the publishing institution of literary ancient books under the People's Literature Publishing House.

From 65438 to 0957, Wang Qili was labeled as "Rightist" and was criticized many times. After a large family was driven out of the quadrangle where Professor Peking University lived, more than 30,000 ancient books accumulated over the years, including Dunhuang documents, rare books of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, excellent engravings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, were all copied, and tens of thousands of cards copied for decades were gone. However, Wang Qili is still committed to writing.

After the downfall of the Gang of Four, Mr. Wang Qili was rehabilitated. While others are still looking back and feeling deeply, Wang has already begun to sort out his old manuscripts. He laughed and said that he was an old athlete in the catastrophe and an old athlete on the road of life. He wants to "waste his life" and try his best to save the wasted good time with diligent and unremitting efforts.

Therefore, in the year of academic famine, Wang Qili successively handed over more than ten manuscripts, such as Notes on Wen Jing and Mi Fei, Jiu Hu Ji, Zheng Kangcheng's Chronicle, Li Shizhen and Xu Li's Son's Chronicle, Reading Notes in Yuemaotang, Historical Materials of Banned Novels and Dramas in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Many academic colleagues joked with Mr. Wang, saying that he had a bumper harvest in recent years and became a "20 million millionaire", which means that he has published many works with at least 20 million words and is a rich man. This special title spread quickly, and it was a beautiful talk for a while. But he made such achievements because he was willing to study behind closed doors in his humble study and get in touch with the sages. It is also because he has a state of mind like the abyss of osawa, and he is willing to abandon fame and utility and devote himself to an ordinary and trivial but down-to-earth career. Just like Wang Qili's word "hide and use it" and the name he gave to his study: "Be good at hiding his books, so make good use of his books". In the early days of the Cultural Revolution, Wang Qili was treated unfairly and hit. His family was expelled from Professor College of Peking University, and more than 30,000 ancient books in his family were confiscated (many of them are rare and rare, such as Dunhuang Zi and Ningyuan Engraving Edition). ), and some were even plundered by Jiang Qing and Kang Sheng, and listed as existing. In People's Literature Publishing House, he was first described as a "reactionary academic authority" and was held in a "bullpen" for more than three years. After that, it was decentralized to the "May 7th Cadre School" of the Ministry of Culture, which was called "re-education". It's really a reform-through-labour camp, and it's wasted four years. He always takes a Taoist attitude towards life, "Call me Niu Wu, call me Ma Wu". Only in this way can he survive a greater disaster.

In Xiangyang Lake, because Wang Qili is old, he works less in the field and spends most of his time boiling water in the canteen. Finally, he didn't drag himself down. Sometimes when I am free on Sunday, I will go to Gan Tang to buy something to eat and have a rare sumptuous food. Sometimes it's interesting to take a boat from Wang Liuzui and spend 20 cents on a ferry to Xianning County. What makes Wang Qili even more sad is that during the "May 16th" period in Lianli, he fought every day, "extorted confessions by torture" and even beat people and screamed, which made everyone feel insecure and guarded each other very strictly.

In contrast, his most unforgettable thing is that the villagers in Xianning have given a lot of care to intellectuals. For example, the local people do not regard the sudden influx of strangers as a burden, let alone the opposite "reform-through-labour" objects. When I first arrived at the cadre school, there was no house to live in. A dozen people crowded into a big house and slept in a bed. A villager vacated his room to share the worries of the cadre school. Cadres can't do farm work, but fellow villagers teach them by hand. Even some villagers' children will inform intellectuals in advance when they get married, and they will be invited as "distinguished guests" for a wedding banquet. You know, how much spiritual comfort this courtesy has brought to the "May 7th" soldiers! However, educated people have nothing in return. They told the truth and owed money to their hometown. Afterwards, they were still ashamed to think of it.

In the middle of the cadre school, Wang He and a group of "old, weak and sick" moved from Xiangyang Lake to Danjiang. He was arranged to live with Ren Jin, a great translator, for special reasons, because they were not familiar with each other before, and there was no "* * * same language" to manage the army propaganda team. At that time, sholokhov's Silent Don was greatly criticized by literary and art circles. Ren Jin was very depressed and tired, and was admitted to Xunxian People's Hospital because of his critical illness. Wang Qili was arranged by your company to "accompany him" and looked after him for a few days. However, due to poor conditions in small places and low medical standards, Jin people who just turned 60 died soon, and even the cause of death was unclear. Wang Qili kept a diary there, but unfortunately he didn't have time to sort it out later.
