Why can't the couplets posted in the New Year be posted again if they are dropped?

Usually, it is not recommended to re-paste the couplets posted for the New Year, because the atmosphere and significance of the Spring Festival have passed and the main function of the couplets has been completed, that is, to set off the festive atmosphere and seek good luck. Traditionally, after the third day of the Spring Festival, the existence of couplets is not so important.

So if the couplet is dropped, there is no need to re-paste it.
